The selection here is super limited. When I review a coffee shop, I try and order something similar to my regular order (Blended Caramel Mocha) so I have a very familiar idea of taste. Here they didnt have blended which is normally fine, I just asked for iced. They gave me hot. They also didnt have caramel or anything similar, so when I asked for a vanilla mocha my server asked if I meant just a latte. When they knew what drink I was looking for. I had to spell it out a mocha with added vanilla flavoring.The coffee itself was good, nothing special but then again I couldnt get anything close to what I normally judge on. I also got avocado toast which was good. Nothing too special but very good. Ended up sharing with a friend.If you have a drink you know you want that isnt a basic espresso, look elsewhere. If your vibe is simple espressos then youre in a very good option coming here. Just dont expect anything super outstanding.

I stopped by around 3pm on a Thursday looking for some coffee at a place with wi-fi to get some work done. All three employees I interacted with seemed downright depressed. I received no greeting, no thank you, not even a hint of a smile. Usually, I prefer a more self-serve style, but even for me this lack of interaction was disappointing.While cashing me out the employee at the register brusquely turned to another and stated that she needed her shift to end, now. She got a snippy respons. From the brief exchange I overheard it sounded like this poor employee had been on the register all day long and needed a break. Either way, the conversation was not one I would have wanted to overhear.So I grab my coffee mug and fill it up. $3 for unlimited refill coffee is a great deal, and the coffee was pretty good. Nothing amazing, but tasty. I got a ginger cookie which was delicious - nice and crispy on the edges, chewy on the inside, and loaded with ginger.My time sitting was brief. The internet, well somehow it didnt exist for me or the next two people who sat down and tried to connect. The tables were also pretty sticky. To be fair, the place was very full, so maybe it was just bad timing.Overall, desert was tasty and the menu looked great. But the employee attitude was contagious, such a downer.

Do not come here if you want a secure or safe environment to do work. I never, ever leave reviews and was really excited to try this place. The building and interior was dirty. The coffee was fine but wasnt good enough to make up for the number of unhoused people camping out inside, disturbing myself and others trying to work. I have a lot of sympathy for the current situation in Oakland but there were multiple unhoused people seeking refuge in the coffee shop. It was busy and people were looking for tables. They occupied several tables and didnt buy anything to my knowledge. One of them kept on circling around my very out of they way table when I was working on my laptop and was quite aggressive. If it was a lone actor who walked in randomly it would be one thing, but this guy had been napping inside for a long time. I didnt feel safe doing work here on my computer as a result and am surprised the management allows them to freely camp out.

My office is a block away from this Starbucks. I go here almost every morning. this morning I ordered my drink and gave her the name Jessy when my drink got called the name on the drink said Jessica so I asked the girl calling out the drinks if this was mine or was one coming for jessy. She said the girl must have heard my name wrong the next Carmel frap was for shannan with an add shot. (shannan is a guy thats standing a few feet away from me) he pushes me into the counter and proceeds to try and take my drink from my hand while saying thats my drink they called shannan even after i showed him the name of the drink he still had me pinned to the counter. i looked at the worker how looked shocked but said nothing. ( all she had to say was shannan your drink is coming up next). i pushed him out of my way and walked out of starbucks mad.

Just to be clear this review is intended for the peets coffee stand next to gate 9 here at the Oakland Airport although this location does not seem to be on the map.I waited in line for 30 minutes before my early morning flight and ordered a breakfast burrito. After waiting an additional 10 minutes for my food, I began to open my burrito. I noticed the plastic display tag stating what the burrito was had been melted as it was still attached when the burrito was placed in the toaster oven/microwave. Once I began eating the burrito, I realized that there were small flakes of plastic covering the surface of the burrito! At this point, the line was 20+ people long and I had to board my flight. This is absolutely unacceptable and it is now so far beyond a bad burrito as I am now sitting on my flight with no chance for food for the next 3 hours. I would like to share pictures of the plastic covered burrito but it will not let me.

Went here today for the first time and it was a terrible experience. It was not even that busy compared to other starbucks stores i've been, probably like only 7 people waiting for the orders and 2 in line and everything was just poorly managed. I was a barista once so I was trying to really be patient and understand the employees but I gotta write this down. First off they were all over the place, no one even greets and asks nicely about our orders. Second, I had to wait for 15mins for just 2 drinks. Then third, after that wait my 2 drinks that I ordered were all wrong! I got a pinkdrink and get this, there was no strawberries in it! I didn't notice right away because I was in a hurry. It was just the acai juice and coconut milk. My starbucks doubleshot on ice was only really 2 shots of espresso then milk. I was like “This isn't done right” and one customer overheard me and was also saying “Yeah they messed up mine too”. And another one was really done and asked for a refund instead. I know this is a tough and fast paced job but i think customer service and beverage quality shouldn't be compromised at all. I hope management does something about this. I won't be coming back sadly.

The worse Peets coffee shop ever, When is the employee I think she was the short hair African American light skin lady she is the worse she have an attitude and she dont do the order right I had to go back and wait online again to get my sugar because they did not add the sugar even though I insist and told her 3 time to add 5 raw sugar and she got mad because of that also they did not put enough half-and-half milk Im not going to come back here again sorry Peets coffee I only drink coffee from you but not from this location

Terrible management at this location now. She is very aggresive and has no known customer service skills that i am aware of. Which is sad because i used to love this store ( and work here) but whoever hired this new woman was out of their mind. My boyfriend got kicked out bc he bought a homeless man coffee on a cold morning. He then had him come inside to fix it the way he wanted. The manager came out from the back and went balistic! Screaming and yelling at the homeless man from across the store (in front of everyone during the morning rush). My boyfriend asked what was wrong? And explained he had just bought the man coffee and he was fixing it. She then directed her crazy toward him and kicked him out too. With no explanation... i worked there for 3 years (2008-2011), and would not believe it if i hadnt witnessed it myself. I will never go in that store, or purchase any Peets products again. Helpful tip: The HIVE around the corner has great coffee and is a local business owner :)

Mexican heavy set girl very rude and unprofessional when she was taking my order i can tell she wanted me to get out of her face as fast as I got in it once she was done taking my order she took the order of the young man (Mexican as well) behind me after taking our order she began to make his drinks first even tho I ordered before him now I can see if he just ordered a couple of cups of coffee thats easy pour it in the cup and give it to the customer really quick not a problem but he didnt by the time I realize those werent my drinks it was pointless to say anything I know she did that on purpose I was just really wondering why? But deep down inside i knew it was a race thing she wanted to prove a point and let me know her people come first i deal with her kind way to much (in all races even my own) its sad but instead of stooping to her level I waited patiently for my drinks its no point in trying to address a hateful nasty person like that but I definitely wont be going back to this one again
