When I said it was the wrong drink she insisted that I had ordered a frappe even though the receipt stated that I ordered a mocha. I didnt have the time or energy to fight it so I took the frappe which tasted awful. Terrible customer service and extremely rude employees.

Had to repeat the size, that it was iced and what they were three times for the cashier only to be given the wrong drinks. Employees here were miserable working at an airport and need more training in smiling being happy and loving customers and treating them with respect integrity and professionalism especially when the customer exerts positive A+ energy. The Pete’s coffee management at the Oakland airport need to take a look into screenining who they hire and train them with how to interact with customers and how to give them great service . If you are in customer service you are here to serve the public don’t act irritated when somebody places an order . Made purchases and no ice was given had to charge me for ice and fountain water when I asked for water to water my drink.

I had to ask about it just to get it made. Bacon and egg breakfast bagel was cold in the middle and not cooked all the way which is a bummer given it was $11.30 just for that, money down the drain. If I’m ever back at the Oakland Airport this is one place I wont be coming back to.

Comment: This is a busy airport place. The food menu is limited, but the beverages are normal Peets.I had an egg, cheese and bacon bagel and it was really bad. The eggs were very strange. They were scrambled in a mold about a a half inch thick. Very little flavor and they tended to crumble, making the sandwich very messy. The cheese and bacon were all in one area with the rest only egg.My tea was fine and very hot. Service was very slow as all heated food orders were loaded into the oven when they had enough orders to fill it... several minutes after I ordered.

Comment: Peets at gate 29...do not take customer service seriously....I asked the cashier for dark coffe....and she immediately served me a large medium-dark cofee...I tasted it and I mentioned to her that it was not a dark coffee and size was incorrect....she replied that it was Dark coffee....and she trashed my receipt. There was no line behind me. This situation happened on Wednesday, June 12 at 4:55 approx....only if the manager wants to provide more customer service training.

Comment: I enjoyed the wait for coffee and the chit-chat but there wasnt any Major Dickerson at 10 am but management was nice while waiting!!! When my turn came Major Dickerson was empty and the Big Bang was weak!!!! I will always go there but if Major Dickerson isnt available; l am out!!! It is a busy place with excellent pastries....Love it!!!

Comment: Gate 22 Peet’s suck! Abrupt service, after waiting asked what you waiting for advised 2 large lattes told welcome to airport, asked to produce receipt as order lost, probably during the drink maker handover, this was despite the server being the one that handed over the breakfast sandwiches. Sandwich not heated through, espresso shot dead and lots of foam for a no foam latte. Oh well welcome to the airport, although wasn’t like that when it was Starbucks!

Great coffee and other good offerings are great when youre in a captured environment like an airport. 25 years ago, you might have to use a vending machine to get a cup of coffee, in an airport. Yes, vending machine coffee was a real thing back in the day, and was as bad as it sounds. Thank God for Peets 😊

Comment: Just to be clear this review is intended for the peets coffee stand next to gate 9 here at the Oakland Airport although this location does not seem to be on the map.I waited in line for 30 minutes before my early morning flight and ordered a breakfast burrito. After waiting an additional 10 minutes for my food, I began to open my burrito. I noticed the plastic display tag stating what the burrito was had been melted as it was still attached when the burrito was placed in the toaster oven/microwave. Once I began eating the burrito, I realized that there were small flakes of plastic covering the surface of the burrito! At this point, the line was 20+ people long and I had to board my flight. This is absolutely unacceptable and it is now so far beyond a bad burrito as I am now sitting on my flight with no chance for food for the next 3 hours. I would like to share pictures of the plastic covered burrito but it will not let me.

I often travel all the way over from the lower numbered gates to get my morning joe from Peet’s rather than Starbucks.Today they tried to charge me $7.40 for a medium latte.1) This is more expensive than any item on the menu by almost a dollar.2) The Dark Chocolate Orange latte was just on the menu weeks ago for $5.40.3) Last week they charged me $6.90 for the same medium latte, and I balked at that.I’m sorry Peet’s, you’ve lost a loyal customer by price gouging. Twice. It will be months if not years before I try an airport Peet’s again, and word of mouth is a powerful thing...

I will however recommend that you skip the Starbucks down the hall and come to this location for your coffee needs because the line is generally much shorter than the line at the Starbucks. Comment: Order coffee simple coffee and milk on their minue. After 10 minutes they mes up my $4.39 . I normal have no problem with simple coffee order. After on simple I new the missed it. I ask them to just add Milk 5 more coffee sent out my plain boarding. I asked agin two more go out. No not mine! They had to confirm that it was not my mistake before they would even seem to help cashier confirmed it was not my mistake did not show on receipt more coffee sent out not mine. I had to leave no coffee no refund and the worst service ever. Go to Starbucks just a few door down in Oakland airport. Oak airport look at some of these reviews and get a different company or clean house new employees for this location.
