I came in and ordered an iced quad expresso with 3 pumps of white mocha with lavender foam. My total came out to be $6.10. I gave the cashier girl a $20. My change should be $13.90. Yet for some reason she only gave me $13.50. How hard is it to prompt the amount the customer gave you on the computer and it tells you EXACTLY how much you should give back?! I stood there for a while because she is too stupid to figure out how to open the drawer to give me back my correct change. So I just said put the change in the tip jar. Then the barista that made my drink didn't make it correctly. She gave me a quad expresso iced with a more milky looking foam on top. I asked if it was my drink because I showed her that there was no white mocha. She says she will remake my drink. I watched her pump only 2 pumps of white mocha, and the lavender foam isn't even lavender. I question if she really put in 4 shots because the level of espresso looks like my normal order of 3 shots. Needless to say this store's district manager should retrain those two employees because they are clearly incompetent at their job. I only say this because I used to be a starbucks employee and I know what it takes to make a drink and ring someone up. Not hard.Oh, also if you want to confirm my story, Starbucks you can check your cameras and see. I came in at 918am Sunday March 24. I also wish I could take back my tip. Moving forward, I urge everybody to tip after you have received your drinks/food. This is just to ensure better customer service and that your drink is made correctly. After all, your coffee isn't cheap.

I've always liked peets . This location is great in the sense that the location is beautiful; I love downtown Willow Glen and I think peets is a great place to stop for coffee or tea in a place where there's plenty of outdoor shopping or dining to do. Only criticism I have is that today my customer service I received wasn't the best. I have been to this location many times in the past, and I've had good service then, but today I just felt like my barista at the register didn't care . I asked if the anniversary peetnik beverage reward (if you have the app) was free or I needed to make a purchase to redeem a free drink . Her energy was lacking to serve me and I just didn't feel she cared enough to be there . I'm not expecting perfection but you can just try to display some more energy in your tone . When the lady behind her overheard that I wanted the brown sugar oat milk latte with jellies, she was like “from 2Pm onward.” I don't recall the exact wording but it was something along these lines. At first I didn't know what she meant —- I interpreted that like I couldn't order that specific drink until 2pm cuz they don't serve it till 2pm? She then stated “but since it's for your anniversary free drink reward that's fine.” Again I don't recall exact wording but it was something along these lines. I would completely understand if you can't serve a drink till a certain time but even then— your jellies beverage part of the menu literally has no caption saying that ; unless you meant something totally different . It was so confusing . Long story short - I got the drink. It was good but it could've been a tad sweeter . I feel like peets needs to add a little more flavor to this drink, besides the sweetness of the brown sugar syrup. There was still flavor but there could've been more . I do like that peets is adding drinks w jellies however the prices are a bit ridiculous. Granted, today I did not have to pay since I had my coupon however it would've been around $7 for a medium roughly of this drink. I know the jellies are supposed to make it “luxurious” but I'm sorry $7 is a lot for a medium cup of that. Hence why I'm selective whenever I'm paying for drinks

I went into location and had a really awful experience. I first went to the restroom and came out and as I was looking at items the cashier said hello in a very unwelcoming and condescending manner. More like he was letting me know he was watching me.So I ended up mobile ordering and it was a very uncomfortable experience. They didnt call any names for a mobile order. They had them hidden in the back, not even close to the counter so I was not even aware my order was ready or that was what they were doing. SEVERAL if not all baristas saw me looking at the counter and didnt bother to inform me that the mobile orders were not placed on the counter where there is a sign that literally says the mobile orders go there. So by the time Im tired of waiting and ask, the bagel is already getting cold.It felt very racist and like I was profiled as I am a black woman and the baristas seemed very uncomfortable with my presence at this location in general. Even as the barista handed me the bagel he had a very awful attitude like he didnt want to do it and the whole situation was very hurtful and uncomfortable. I wasnt dressed poorly or acting in any obscene manner. It seemed like they acted differently only because I walked in because there was literally a sign that said they go on the counter and they didnt bother to call out any names. I have been to stores where they keep mobile orders behind the counter but they still call the names but the racist employees at this store didnt even bother to call out any names. They just saw me waiting and were rude and racist enough to just ignore me and assume I was trying to steal a $2 bagel that is $.45 at safeway. I wasnt treated politely or with any dignity at even a basic level at this location and it is very hurtful to be profiled. Awful employees. This was Wednesday around 6:30 a.m.

I really never have issues with starbucks but theyre normally very accommodating. This one however has been let down after let down. The staff is friendly but they always seem to make my drink wrong. I normally come here right before class at SJSU so I dont have time to wait for new ones. I literally just suck it up.Also the dont have restrooms. Im not trying to exaggerate but I have NEVER run into a Starbucks with no restroom. And Ive been to pleanty in many states. So I was really thrown off and upset about that shocker.Their attempt to be spacious is sad. Tiny tables inside. The long bar faces a window that gets tons of sun AND their blinds do t roll down more than a quarter. Thats odd. The outside is larger than the insides with more tables but on days where its 90 outside its a choice of dealing with the sun inside at the bar or the heat outside in the shade.I just think they could have dealt with the space a little better. Its unfortunate that this is the closest to my school. Probably one of the only reasons they have so much traffic. Location.

This is a Iranian cafe. There is plenty of seating indoors and outside. There is also a small Iranian grocery store as part of the shop. The cafe has a bakery. There are weekend specials such as Iranian chicken haleem which is very different from haleem found in south Asia or different from Harees found in middle east. Iranians put sugar. There are plenty of options for pastries, cakes and sandwiches. There is pizza also. A great place for small bites but not a place to hand full blow meals. If you are looking for good breakfast a great place to come. If you want various types of teas an excellent place to come. They serve traditional Iranian tea. I have tried the veggie omelette which has bell pepper, onions and mushrooms in it and seared with freshly baked Iranian bread. I have also had the zaban Sandwich which is a beef tongue sandwich. It is incredible and the most unique sandwich. It will fill you up. The owners are very nice and the staff is polite. This place has a good variety of veggies and non veg options. Coffee is average. They do provide some interesting coffee like with jasmine flavor. They have a variety of breakfast sausages and salami options from Iran. I just wish they had some kebab based sandwiches. So similar to the zaban Sandwich but make it with shami or koobideh kebab. I think it will go brilliantly. It is a good spot to meet friends and family for the weekend. Last but not least they make fresh smoothies and juices. A great place to come after a workout to have their high protein low carb breakfast with juice.

Leaving a one star because my Hot White Chocolate Mocha taste like Hot White Chocolate Milk and because they refused my sister, whose period went through, use the bathroom. This has been the cheapest, janky, and unfulfilling Starbucks in my life; NYC Starbucks look like the Ritz Carlton in front of this. To simply give coffee and lack all of the amenities and services that justify the high price of a Starbucks coffee, they might as well have set up a lemonade stand and save their money. Im very unhappy with this experience, especially the fact that my sister begged to use the bathroom because her period went through her grey leggings. Any female, with the exclusion of the ALL five women staff including Manager Jay (female), can understand. We were a paying customer and asked for the bathroom and were hit with them not allowing my sister to use bathroom because of the homeless problem... I was a paying customer. To later be told that others may see and would want an exception too. I looked around and didnt even see a passerby nearby. I even said were from DC and would never ask for this exception again, and Manager Jay thought about it and pointed to the chipotle across the street, in a random food hall direction and even said we can go next door but we may need to buy something ... Seriously? After Ive already purchased an expensive White Chocolate Milk from your business? Bye. This Starbucks is ratchet and need some branding, managerial, and service skills from the New Yorkers.

Ive been coming to this petes for 2 years nearly every day! Superb customer service. The same core of employees have worked there as long as Ive been going with new faces here and there but from what I understand they do use the facility to train employees for other locations. I couldnt tell you the last time I actually had to give my order they know it by heart and most of the time have it ready for me by the time I pay. This Petes location can get extremely busy however the Charisma and energy of the staff make it worth the wait. Every day that I come here I see the interaction between staff and patrons many times knowing each other by first name basis. This touch of care and personal interaction goes a long way in my decision of being a faithful and regular Petes customer. You guys rock! Keep up the great hard work and you always have a faithful customer in me.

This morning, I got myself a venti iced white mocha with whip cream and extra caramel drizzle. First of all I dont give reviews but specifically this morning I will. I asked the worker to give me a little more caramel on top and she looked at me with an attitude, but didnt even took back my drink in the end. I was like fine whatever but please Starbucks I did not paid a 7 dollars and something cents just to get a milk tea mixed with water and cover up with a little sweet from the caramel. Oh my God my drink is so tasteless. I thought I was drinking water mixed with the whip cream. There was no flavor, no shots of coffee in my drink like maybe they so busy that they forgot to put coffee in my drink. Im so disappointed. I dont think I will come back to this location again. The worker gotta do better! So so disappointed at my drink and the worker.

The worst coffee experience I have ever had in my life!!! I come to this location several times a week, its my birthday, I came in with my family today and we all purchased a drink and my father choose an order something that he normally does not. Quite frankly it was disgusting, he tried it and he told them he did not like the cardamum, the barista in the back said they would be happy to make him something else. And he was discussing the drink in a polite manner, while she made a new one, and some random dude that ordered his drink that had no idea or sense of the conversation comes over and yells at my father and calles him a derogatory name, which is not family friendly. He had literally nothing to do with anything. And my father asks him to repeat and not only does he say it again BUT THE BARISTA REPEATED WHAT HE SAID IN THE OFENDERS DEFENSE!!!! I'm not really sure, maybe it was like the baristas boyfriend or something, definitely not cool. I was in shock, my father asked the gentleman to talk outside and he continued to antagonize my father. I told the man to have a nice day and we left. It honestly ruined my birthday and as much as I go there I will never ever step foot in that place again. I worked in retail for multiple years and that would never fly in a customer service oriented business, Peet's might want to consider some more training on what it mean to represent a company. Lol, go to Philz, much friendlier. (:

Sometimes I like this starbucks. Sometimes I dont. Today I especially wasnt pleased. I get that it gets busy, and that there are multiple orders to fulfil..but that doesnt mean to ignore a customers order. I pre-ordered my 1 DRINK..which is very quick to make..and I thought it would be done by the time I got there but it wasnt. I stood in the pickup line for like 30 min watching people who ordered after I got there get their order before I even did. I stood there being as patient as I can but I will only stand there so long before I feel like I was forgotten...and I was. I had to walk up to the counter, and ask them about my drink which they forgot about. I had to show them my receipt on my phone with the order just to prove to them I ordered a drink..Noone bothered to ask me if I had gotten my drink yet, if I had gotten help, and there was ABSOLUTELY NO COMMUNICATION BETWEEN BARISTAS. The pickup counter had about 20 drinks just sitting there, and they didnt seem to care. They just kept piling drink after drink, letting them sit there, and didnt even call out names so people can pick them up if they are there.Last time I was in, there was a barista who was very helpful..getting all the drinks out, calling names, doing what hes supposed to do sadly he wasnt working today. So my experience wasnt as easy as it should have been.
