The only thing I really don’t like about this place is after spending a few hours doing work here, I come home smelling like chicken. Like very strongly of chicken. Comment: *Edited* After about 6months I think it’s worth it to note this boba place is currently my favorite in SD*Great study spot or to play games with friends. Delicious boba and the chicken snack (breast) is great! A little expensive for boba but worth it for the great atmosphere, free wifi and mellow study spot that I can spend an easy 4 hours at to study on any given day. Not much outdoor seating just FYI but the indoor seating is plenty with long tables for those wanting to play games. My coworker also swears by their tiger milk tea, the classic black milk tea is top tier.

Comment: Weve been coming here for years, and Tea n More has remained a great place for boba, snacks, and get togethers. The open space makes for a great place for meet ups and hang outs, and there are games, manga, and gacha style machines for further entertainment. There are many places to sit, even when busy, and the menu options are vast. There are combo options where you can order a snack that comes with a free drink, in addition to many many drink, topping, and food items. Im a personal fan of the passion fruit slush, along with the fresh lemon ribena drink. Will be stopping by again soon!

So basically, I wish it was Taiwanese salt crispy chicken.What I wouldnt change: Their black tea has ZERO bitterness and good tea taste. Their boba is chewy and sweet, albeit maybe a little too sweet. But in summary its a great boba black tea.What is awesome: You can get all of that for $12.25. In 2022, that is a completely bargain. The Wi-Fi speed was good for me until about 15 minutes before close, I noticed the bandwidth slowed dramatically. Their kitchen also closes about 30 minutes before they close too.I had a Nutella crepe that was good! The iced mocha was not good though. Comment: I used to work for a boba shop for 5 years and have had boba from different states and all over like Japan, Korea, Thailand, China and France and this place is one of the better ones Ive had. The tea quality is good and the boba is a little smaller but still chewy and not overly sweet. They only have one size (maybe a 20oz?) But they have unique flavors that I havent seen and obviously the classic like Thai, taro, and jasmine.They also do military and student discount which is nice 👌.Their study are is spacious and most people there are students so its relatively quiet.They only lost a star because I tried their crepe and it was just bleh to me. It was dry with no sweetness and the fruit they tossed on top didnt save it.

Me and my boyfriend recently moved into the area and saw this spot after getting ramen from the spot next door (really great place btw) and Ive never tried Boba so we decided to go and try it. Being that the place also had some food we ordered food with our Boba just to try it. My boyfriend ordered a crepe and I wanted to try out the calamari. I guess I should have known better trying to order something like that from a café because they told me they dont have calamari in stock so I just got my Boba. After we paid and sat down to wait for our order the man calls us up and tells us how they also ran out of crepes. It was then I knew we should have just got our Boba and left but my boyfriend insisted on getting something and ordered some kind of chicken. When we got our food and drinks we went to the car and opened the box of food to see what was in it as it smelled horrible. And to our surprise we were given pieces of cut up chicken that had white bubbles on one side and was coated in red seasoning on the other. Dont ask why but I tasted some of it and it was disgusting. The meat was freezer burnt where the bubbles were and then very spicy on the other side where the seasoning was. Long story short id recommend just getting a Boba tea and steer clear of any food related items.

Comment: I have only gotten the thai ice tea w/ boba. I like it. They have only one size and it seems like 20 oz. For Covid, you can order inside and there is space all around for social distancing. Although if you want to sit down while you wait then there is just a small space for seating right next to where you order. The seating area is not the best for social distancing since its small. By the way they have those machines that have little figurines if you have quarters. Luckily if you are in need of coins, then there is a dispenser at the corner right next to the entrance.

Comment: They have such a huge selection! A lot of the menu you could get hot or cold too so that was a plus... we needed something warm to help in digestion after KBBQ lolz. After looking at the menu I finally decided on Tiger Tea (finally something different since most shops all have the same drinks). It is a Thai Tea and Black tea mixture and I got a cold one (with no ice, so I could slam it in my fridge for later later) and a hot one to help break down that 6lbs of meat I just devoured. I think its a good spot to go to after lunch/dinner dates. Theres some photo booths in there as well and a claw game too. Also, theres an old school Galaga game too. Definitely going back to try other drinks thats for sure.

Comment: This is a great place, but parking can be difficult. Many businesses share the parking lot, and theres at least two businesses open at night. The inside is well laid out and efficient in both design as well as the staff. They have many tables and it has a coffee house feel to it. Many people hang around, socializing, gaming, homework, and probably even studying.

You can sit around and play board games while enjoying a good Vietnamese coffee or a boba thai chi latte. Their takoyaki and their croquettes are pretty yummy. They also have a pretty creative photo booth, which makes it attractive to the younger crowd. Its inexpensive and a good spot to hang, def recommend it!

There are two photo booths that you can customize with small decorative kawaii accessories printed on your pictures, however the pictures cost $11 which is kind of pricey. The food and drinks are okay but the employees are chill. They constantly play chill lofi music but definitely bring earbuds for studying. We have been here many times before, but the first thing I noticed is that they rearranged the inside. The photo booth and the crane machine are now closer towards the restroom while tables and chairs are scooted next to the windows. It looks great at night. It gives the impression that it is busy as it was for the night. Most people are out for the summer, I saw many people enjoying boards games like King of Tokyo, Machi Koro, and 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. People were having fun here during the summer. Of course there are people who study here during the school year, but I did not come at the right time for that.As for the food, I ordered strawberry smoothie with no boba large size. The drink was okay. Maybe I do not know what to order, but plenty of times I came here and thought the drink is okay. It is good enough for my friends to keep coming back though. It is a great place to spend quality times with your friends.As for the popcorn chicken my friend ordered, they look and taste weird. It looks so different from what I would call it popcorn chicken. It looks like they took several chicken strips and cut them down. I was disappointed. Even though it is chicken, I do not think it deserves to be called popcorn as it does not even look like it. I hope this was a substitute (I am assuming that they ran out of the popcorn chicken) otherwise I would not order it without a name change.Overall, we do come here often, but for now I think this place is a little higher than average, but not enough for me to give it a 4 out of 5 for this visit. Recently stopped by and ended up staying for over 3 hours.Its a nice, relaxing place with lots of tables and 3 sofas off to the side, though I remember a time when there was much more room to sit. About a third of the area is taken up by these large booths that do....no idea. But, aside from those you can usually get comfortable, rent a game, and just relax.Tea is good, flavorful but rather sweet depending on your choices. Well priced so trying multiple teas is great. Havent tried the food lately but Ive noticed its priced much better than what it once was. You can tell when a new person is working though since they seem to get lost on the register and sometimes dont understand what you order. When I was there we ordered a hot and a cold tea, but got two cold teas.

Comment: The tea at this place tasted kind of different. Maybe it is because Im used to the tea in San Gabriel Valley area so it was weird to me. The place also has a huge parking lot in the back. Inside, lots of tables and places to play the claw machine and take cue pictures!

Comment: After going to church with my friends, I wanted to go to M.I.Tea, but one of my friends made the suggestion to go to Tea N More. I realized I havent been there in almost a year, so I said sure, why not? then proceeded to enter through the narrow driveway to their back parking lot.I ordered a large thai tea with boba and my first thought was that it was fairly priced. The boba itself is okay; for some reason, I think it has a different after taste than other boba places Ive tried. The thai was indeed refreshing, but it is on the sweeter side. They were definitely friendly with their half and half portion in their tea.Overall, Ill still go to this place, but if places like Infini-tea or M.I.Tea are merely a block away, I would rather go there.

Comment: I come here to get my fix of Red Bean, and for the Arcade game (Im a Galaga geek).I always order a Red Bean smoothie with red bean instead of boba. Soooo good. My husband likes their beef bowl (well, without the vegetables added... so its more Yoshinoya-style).PARKING: Theres available parking right on the curb of Clairemont Mesa Blvd (in front of the Tea and More), along the sides, and in the back. The back parking lot is a little tight, but youll never have issues finding parking, (well during the times Ive visited, anyway).ATMOSPHERE: Coffee-shop style. Theres tables/chairs, sofa, photo booths, claw and arcade games, reading material. Very chill and relaxed. Not too many outlets, so plan on charging your electronic devices (laptop, tablet, etc), ahead of time in case you cant get a table with an outlet. There are only so many tables along the wall. There are board games you can check out too. Really cool place if youre hanging out with friends. This area can get really crowded at times. Tables and chairs are a little run-down and worn, but it adds to the small coffee shop feel.EMPLOYEES: Pretty friendly. Service is quick. Sometimes theres a line because theres only 1 register.RESTROOMS: Clean, but could be better. Very run down. Also, they use the restroom to store their supplies, so its not too welcoming in there. Only 1 toilet, so its locked if someone is currently occupying it.

Comment: I love going to this place as a usual hang out and Ill take friends too. But recently I had a weird occurrence. After i returned home from a trip to Tea n More with my best friend we both got a Facebook notification from the cashier that took our order. I remember my friend recently saying how her and her friends had the exact same thing happen to them. This would be fine if I gave the guy my full name but how else would he have known the full names of my friend and I? Either it was taken from our cards or the receipt. I am not comfortable with both as you could understand and neither are my friends. So sorry but we will not be returning.

Comment: Did I just go on a bad day??? I milled over so many reviews for this place and I figured it was worth a shot... So check it out, I was hankering for some fried tofu and milk tea and the usual places are pretty pricey so I thought Id check this place out. I went during the week on a lunch break, which leads me to problem number one... THEY TOOK FOREVER! I waited and waited, it felt like eons... maybe it was me and I was just in a hurry, but it did take over 20 minutes for SURE because my break was OVER by the time I got back with my TO-GO order.SECOND; the fried tofu was like fried tofu skin floating on top of mushy tofu at the bottom (unlike Tea Stations which are delightful cubes that stay together on a five minute drive back to work)... uhhhh... Gross..LASTLY, the milk tea was so bad I had to throw it away, it was like partially powdery with hard sago (what filipinos call boba) and I took some really nasty pictures of it but now you dont get to enjoy them because that phone broke. This was a serious sago tea nightmare.Then I get the smack remark later from my family why would you ever go there when tea station is across the street? YES -- I beg you, spend your extra two or so dollars to get GOOD food and HIGH QUALITY tea @ TEA STATION which is across the street. Its NOT worth it here to skimp!!!!

Comment: Very close to the Ranch 99, this is a good place to come chill before grocery shopping. Their snacks are surprisingly good-- try the chicken fingers or crepes. I usually get the taro slush here and its always yummy. They have some magazines to read while you hang out, and the couches are a comfy addition. Also-- leave your ID at the counter to get board games!
