Comment: The workers here are heroes. I had little hope in a nearby Starbucks being open on Christmas during lunch time but I still had to grab something quick before my few hour road trip. My order was late 20 minutes than the estimated time but I was grateful to even put in an order so I patiently waited. The grandpa in front of me was flabbergasted and rude when everyone’s order was getting ready before his but the barista kindly and professionally informed him that those are mobile orders that were placed before him. Regardless, like I said the Christmas team working here are literal heroes. This Starbucks should be the standard by other coffee shops.

I confirmed with the barista 2 times that it was decaf, and told her I have a heart condition so I cannot drink coffee. I unfortunately had to be driven to the ER that night because I was given a drink with caffeine. You would think that after checking 2 times and saying I have a health condition, they would take it seriously. That $6 coffee is now costing me hundreds for that ER bill. People who have health issues - BE careful. Baristas do not care about you.

Comment: Reviewing a Starbucks is kind of silly. They sell coffee. They are the ones that sell coffee without naming everything Mc. They treat their employees far better than most in food service, even paying for a 4-year college degree for someone on a minimum wage job. But the bottom line is they sell coffee, and they price that coffee hi because theyre selling their atmosphere not just coffee. When it comes to atmosphere, Starbucks 30 years ago was much better than Starbucks today. They are no longer a third place. They are a big Lobby with lots of coffee and not much else interesting, very different from 1990 when they were introducing new blues artists and coming up with coffees that were branded to fit with the album. Also very different from 1990 where they sold top tier espresso equipment for home, grinders, and all sorts of interesting doodads to help people make their own. They graduated from that to crappie pod-based devices and then got out of the business altogether. I enjoyed the Starbucks of 1990 far more than I enjoy Starbucks today.

I went inside to give it back and see if they could make what I ordered. They did not apologize, but said they could fix it. I gave them my order again and was then handed a dark coffee. I told them that was not what I ordered and all she said was, thats what I heard. She took it back and made a chai tea latte but it had no espresso in it. I just left with their third attempt so I didnt have to deal with it anymore.

She was nice and took it off but handed me my cup back through the drive through dripping with cream and drink down the side so when I grabbed it it dripped on my car seats and my whole hand was wet. The baristas are always nice and drinks are done well. Every factor they can control is handled with expertise. Ill definitely be a regular here.

Comment: Slow, slow, slow. No line in the drive thru, and still waited twenty minutes. This happens more than it doesnt. The staff needs to be re trained on drinks and customer service. Im a customer more in the evening time, than during the day.my drinks are made wrong more than they are made right. Also I order through the app, and still have to wait for my drink after ten to fifteen minutes after ordering. Its frustrating that I spend the money and usually have to tell the barista more then once what I ordered, or go back to get the correct drink. Its convenient, being clise to where I live, but find myself going out of the way to another Starbucks just so I can get a correct drink in a timely manner.

Comment: This is a very nice Starbucks. Its perfect if you are taking classes at Sacramento City College and need to take a break since it is right across the street. It is clean and the staff are friendly and courteous. There is plenty of space to charge your media devices as they have two large media tables side by side. There is also plenty of outdoor seating available. The only downside is that there is not many open parking spaces.

Comment: Big place, lots of space but is located next to Sacramento City College, so expect place to be full from morning around 9am to evening, if you want to read or get work done I advise come in the early morning at 5am, place is relatively clean, and be aware this is just another Starbucks, dont expect to be treated as a king or a queen, be humble and order in advance, because people who work here have lives same as you, be kind and neat despite what others do. I personally like this place because its close to where I live, and theres lots of seating available and in the mornings a good place to read and get things done, with a hot cup of coffee. Many things in life are good or bad depending on your attitude and gratitude..😁😁

The service is good, although, some of us had to wait to catch the eye of the barista--it could have been the time of the evening. But what is more annoying is how noisy those chairs are!!
