Comment: Strawberry. Ricotta. Toast. I can’t speak to anything else, because I’ve only been here once. However, this piece of toast is phenomenal. I’m not really big on taking pictures of food, but this is definitely a picture worthy piece of toast. Not to mention, it is very filling and satisfying. A little pricy though at $13.Other than that, the atmosphere is very “basic” and social media friendly if you’re into that sort of thing, and the coffee menu is very minimal with very few food items. If coffee is your life then you’ll probably have a great experience. If you’re like me and occasionally enjoy a good and filling piece of toast, then merely stop on by for the (slightly expensive) Strawberry Ricotta Toast and hit the road.

Comment: The place is not very big but was clean. I didn’t get a chance to try the food but whatever the table next to me ordered look good. The cappuccino was excellent. Low acidity, no bitterness. The hochija latte was good too. Sesame and seaweed notes. Will return to this cafe to try the food and the matcha latte.

Comment: My main reason for leaving a review is how much I love their Ochazuke. I keep coming back in just for this dish. It’s so fresh, balanced and has the perfect toppings and garnishes to finish off the flavors. I hope they never take it off the menu 🥲Their coffee is also good quality and reliable. It’s consistently made really well by the baristas.I’m also really impressed by their matcha. It’s good quality and again, made with attention to detail without clumps. The only downside is I wish they served almond milk because I really don’t enjoy matcha with oat milk. That’s the only reason I tend to go elsewhere for matcha.The interior is really clean and modern with wooden touches. The seating is not comfortable so it keeps the atmosphere feeling more sterile and less welcoming. But I really appreciate how neat things are in the cafe and how clean they are kept. That’s important to me and again makes Scorpio stand out over other coffee shops.Overall, I’m really happy Scorpio exists in Sacramento. I can tell they care about quality and that’s hard to come by. It’s a gem of a coffee shop.

Comment: Ive been wanting to try Scorpio for a while, but was finally able to make time today! Definitely a trendy coffee shop oriented towards single diners. It was hard to find a place to squeeze two people in together. I got the pear toast and a matcha latte and they were both decent, although not worth the upscale price imo. Presentation was good but flavors were lacking and portions on the food were much smaller than I expected for the price. Service was average, they were not that busy making orders as everyone inside had already been served but it still took about 15 minutes for my drink and 30 for the food. Overall, a cute but average coffee shop. I will probably stick to my usual haunts, but Scorpio deserves an honorable mention.

Comment: Came here with my partner and friends on a double date exploring midtown Sacramento. We only had the hojicha latte, matcha latte, cappuccino (I think), and I don’t remember what the tea was called. But the drinks very really good and refreshing! Not overly sweet, and they have milk/non-dairy alternatives. I’ll definitely bring back to try their food menu!!!

Comment: In a nutshell; a really nice Cafe, with great beverages and food to start or unwind with your day.Great lattes, wasnt too familiar with the food choices but what was recommended to me was absolutely delicious. Staff were all accommodating and great. The orders didnt take that long either despite how busy they were that morning. Good food. Good service. Cafe isnt the biggest so it may feel rather crowded in a busy morning, but nonetheless, was comfy as decently it could be.Seems some establishments are Adapting the layout design of having the take out / carry out and this cafe is of that nature. The ordering/dine-in line was in the left-middle so it was a tad bit confusing walking in in a busy morning. Overall, parkings a little tough as it is midtown/downtown, but if you could swing by this Cafe, youd be treated well.

Perfect crunch.-soba noodles with tobiko (surcharge): soba noodles were cooked very well. Nice and light. Not sure tobiko add on is needed.-matcha-flash brew: enjoyed flash brew. Strong and smooth.Seating inside and outside. Staff takes your time to make your drinks and food.Parking is difficult in the area since theres only so many spots and theres a lot of one-way streets.

Felt overpriced and I wish I didnt find it so mediocre. The mushroom toast thing was also just all right but it also felt a bit overpriced for what it is. I dont know. Just my opinion. A bit disappointed given how cute the place is and how hyped it is according to some of my friends.

Comment: Had high expectations since the shop looked professional and modern style. But looks can be decieving. I ordered their vanilla latte iced and it looked good from the outside but when I drank it all I can taste is milk and some syrup sweetner, its like as if they barely put any coffee in. You cant taste the coffee at all and theres barely any vanilla syrup so you can barely taste that too, it was pretty much just 95% milk I was drinking in that cup. It was decent not too horrible so I managed to drink most of it.

Comment: Put this place in my to go list long time ago. Finally got to try it out today, caught them right before closing. Ordered their matcha drink and a pear toast. A little expensive but totally worth it. Very nice customer service and clean environment. Have outside dining with a lots of plants around. For my drink it was good but I probably ask they to add some sweet for me next time. The most important is the toast! I didn’t know there will be cinnamon on the toast and I never ever like cinnamon but it goes well with this toast. However it’s good to tried once,, I still can’t go with the cinnamon smell. Toast is refreshing and will definitely order again( with out the cinnamon powder:))) Anyway, definitely will comeback again and highly recommended!

Comment: Clean and friendly staff however ...I got a peppermint hot chocolate and my daughter got a peppermint mocha and we were not impressed ☹️ I could barely taste the chocolate or the peppermint the mocha also tasted very bland. The cost was on the high end for a very small cup. We were celebrating my daughters 1/2 birthday with a 1/2 of a cup of coffee.
