Comment: The tea scones are the best! I like mixed berry. It taste like a scone/biscuit. They sell in some grocery stores but they run out fast so I go straight to the source.I had the blueberry pancake today and it was delicious! One was plenty! Not thin but not too thick either.The service was great. The restaurant is always busy with guest but I can always get a seat or I take to go. Must try scones. 😋

The LEMON and CRYSTALIZED GINGER...oh my, those were just the best ever!!I typically find scones too dry, but these were not dry at all, especially amazing if you microwave for about 5 -10 seconds to get them a bit warm.Will definitely get them again whenever I am in CA. Hope they can get into some stores in Texas!!

They said they had Egg Benedict’s drove 14 miles to dine to have an Eggs Benedict.They told me “Sorry, we no longer have any the Benedict left ”.Stop serving a breakfast item that you continuously serve and run out of by 12pm each day before closing or make it very clear to the people that call inquiring that you about to run out of the breakfast item.So, people don’t waste their time, energy driving sitting down here just to be disappointed and frustrated by the breakfast item always running out. Comment: Really enjoyed the great service from staff, the atmosphere, and the taste of most all the food! There lots of indoor dining with limited outdoor seating in front next to a loud street. Order inside at the counter then find a seat to be served. The tuna melt was unique and very tasty would recommend! The breakfast burrito was unimpressive and expensive for the serving once meat was added. Wouldnt be returning personally but enjoyed the experience despite the noisy area and small breakfast portions. Would recommend stopping in for lunch.

It’s been a min since I’ve been here. These fluffy light pancakes was sooooooo good. These might be top 3 pancake spot in the Bay Area. The staff was awesome, I didn’t need a restroom break so I can’t review that. But this place has its own unique vibe. Pretty quite, and gets packed at the drop of a hat. I really enjoyed this place.

Comment: We got their regular and tea scones, one of their mexican dishes, a latte, and an omelet. The latte is kinda small and nothing special. But the scones were amazing! Buttery and crumbly. Comment: This place, alternately a gun store, Creamery, a refrigerator outlet, a couple of different cafes, and a real estate office over the past eight decades, has now settled into its current identity, sconehenge Bakery & Cafe, apparently a favorite of Berkeleys elderly who populate the cafe as I speak. Putting down a very straight ahead all American breakfast, reminiscent of one a person might find at Dennys, Sams, or one of the old school breakfast places. For under $20 if you can get in and out with a decent meal bad. The staff is really nice Im also this is a great place to hang out for an hour while you get your car service next door at Berkeley Honda.

However, both my housemate and I have picked up breakfast from Sconehenge at different times (me a breakfast burrito, her an omelette), and both felt that the food was a little bland. Once we added the provided hot sauce / salsa, it was delicious, but without it, it felt under-salted. That said, I have loved every scone that I have had from Sconehenge! Highly recommend.

Comment: (Covid era review) A very enjoyable Friday night segued into a less than ideal Saturday morning and my body knew hash browns were the only remedy. A quick google search presented a few options but Sconehenge stood out because they offered breakfast burritos with hash browns inside. I was sold and the burrito did not disappoint. My order was prepared quickly and while the burrito was the star of the show, I picked up a tasty chai latte and some pastries as well. If I dont go back for hash browns/burritos, Ill be going for their pecan rolls.

They are pretty big though so keep that in mind. Deffinately not the size of an eggo pancake. The omlette was tasty and cooked perfectly. My family is slow moving at times and have still been sitting well after they close, and while they make it clear its closing time theyve also been accommodating. They have a great specials menu. Mind you, Ive only been there on Sundays, so I imagine the specials get even more interesting, the rest of the week. Their house made hot sauce is the second best Ive ever had, and can easily be a favorite. All in all, a great place to eat with a large menu, good food and service. Im into their crab omelette. Maybe I didn’t get the right flavor (they only had one type left by the time I arrived at 11:00am this morning) - apricot raspberry, I think - but I wasn’t that impressed and surely not as much as some of the other reviews suggest.
