Comment: Second time Ive had to wait 25 minutes for a simple bolillo with egg and bacon in the end, no bolillo or anything because no one knew what I had ordered. I think they should pay a little more attention to what they are doing. By the way, I didnt get my refund either.

Comment: The service was so unpleasant that it made me uncomfortable. It’s very obvious that they’re only used to dealing with a certain kind of Clientele and anyone outside of that won’t even get a smile. That’s sad.

Comment: It was my first time here, and the grapefruit honey black tea and caramel macchiato coffee were so delicious! I ate the sandwich with a croissant and it was delicious!! They also sell tacos at night, and this is a great restaurant with steamed tacos. Highly recommended!! Its been a while since I overate. Last but not least, the lip balm case was so cute that I bought it on impulse :)

Comment: Hidden between Linda Vista and Ulric Street is this gem.Not more than a month ago I was craving bread and I walked by Linda Vista St, and I realized that this place had been renovated, now putting in a bakery, a little skeptical because it is a very strange place and has a good taste.Take some pieces to try and be delighted with the good Mexican flavor of the bread.Since then I return for bread every time I need it at home. I really wish this place success because it is very rare to find the flavor.I give it a well-deserved 5 stars.

Comment: First time visiting here. I ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito, and wasn’t very impressed. The burrito had a slightly sour taste to it, and did not have very much chorizo it seemed. Not sure if this was the usual standard but I didn’t enjoy my food.

Comment: This place is so good that I don’t want to tell anybody about it, but it’s also so good that I have to 🥲 Breakfast bolillos and caldo de res from the bakery feel like home cooked food. Desserts from the bakery are also amazing and are perfect with a drink from the cafe. 10/10 I plan to come often

Comment: Food, desserts, and drinks are all delicious! Staff is friendly, prices are great compared to most San Diego cafes/bakeries, menu is in 3 languages, atmosphere is bright & clean but the drink bar still feels cozy. Really good taco truck parks outside at 5:30!

Comment: First of all, NO AIR CONDITIONER inside. Waited 20 minutes for a breakfast burrito which was 3/4 tortilla!! For some reason they added sliced jalapeños to a potato chorizo burrito!!!! The same amount of jalapeños to potato to chorizo. Not worth the wait or amount paid. Purchased two pandulce for $3 each or $6 for two. The pandulce was not fresh, very dry. The people who have given reviews clearly were staged. You will be disappointed, so be cautious.

Comment: I have tried a lot of Mexican restaurants and food trucks. This place stands out to me because of the variety and delicious flavor. I tried a lot of the available options and it was a great experience. They had a clean area to eat in and I was extremely surprised to see a clean restroom available to the customers. The prices are fair or below. Unfortunately the cafe-style drinks were not available but I will have to try them next time. Definitely a 10/10 place!

Comment: Super cute place that popped up the street. Not sure what was here before but they are the same owners from the taco truck that used to be at the VFW down the street. The burritos we got were good but included jalapeños which isn’t traditional from where I’m from but still good. It was good for the price 8 bucks. We also got a blueberry and banana liquado. It was sooo good, but just as a heads up this isn’t like a traditional American smoothie but one with less ice. Delicious!!

Comment: Excellent sweet Mexican bread. The chocolate conchas are the best around. I have bought them fresh out of the oven and they are delicious. The potato with chorizo burritos are really good. Their prices are reasonable and lower than other places. The staff is always helpful and friendly. They are coming out with new things like a coffee bar and adding to their menu (menudo!). Their place is looking better every day. They are open from very early to almost midnight every day except Monday. If you enjoy good Mexican food this is the place to come.I wish them all the best.

Comment: San Diego Bakery randomly popped up on Yelp with one review from a few weeks ago but has pictures from a several months ago. Guess they moved or something? Idk.Anyways, I tried some pan and it was good! I found their pan to be comparable to pan from the better panaderias in town, and much better than the Mexican markets around. I didnt grow up eating it but my girlfriend did, and she said the same. Just make sure to transfer it to a plastic bag if youre not finishing it on the same day. That breakfast though.Ive tried some bolillos (huevos con tocino and huevos a la mexicana) and a burrito (huevos a la mexicana con asada) and they were all goooood, and also very fair in pricing. The bakery/torta shop I used to go to got pricy over the years, so Im so glad to have found this place. Although I havent tried the tortas from San Diego Bakery yet. Thats next! The licuado was also very good! Fruit is prepped fresh in front of you, and... drumroll...Its not too sweet!! (Which is really best Asian compliment, right?) I forgot to take a pic of the licuado menu but we tried the fresa, fresa con platano, and mango, and they were all super delicious. $6 each. The licuado and coffee menu also have Korean translations too, which I found pretty cool. Will definitely be coming back, and probably often!Oh also tacos after 5pm
