Comment: I absolutely love this place and all because it’s right in Midtown. However, I don’t appreciate the fact that I was being discriminated because of my sexual orientation and there some of the staff members who work there are LGBTQ community just like me and everybody else and that area because this place in the lavender heights. It would beneficial for the staff to be trained on diversity and inclusion. Other than that I can see this place can go places! Please be careful how you treat people differently because the reputation is a key to everything!

Comment: I have been a loyal customer for over 30 years. Using the app and having beans delivered to me from this location has been poor twice in a row. This time, I order coffee to be ground and came to as whole bean. When I called their solution was for me to come in and get the beans ground. Don’t have delivery if you can’t fix your errors.

Comment: I have had several issues with this particular Peets... burned coffee, dry old bakery items. I do complain and Peets corporate responds and addresses the issue. It is a nice walk and their facility is a great hang with the dogs in the morning. The staff is always fun to banter with and I really do enjoy this store.... just get the food squared away!

Comment: I have nothing bad to say about this place. It has basically become one of my hubs for when I am out shopping or running errands in Midtown -- or am looking for a place other than home to work or study. They dont have outlets to use. So make sure you come fully charged. 🔌⚡

Comment: I would give negative stars if I could. I ordered 4 Blended Iced Mocha Caramel Swirl Javivas with extra Chocolate and Caramel. I called because the extra Chocolate and Caramel was not added. I called as soon as I recieved my order to report the mistake and hopefully get the correct drinks. The last told me the manager wasnt in but that she would have him call me as soon as he got there. 2 hours later, Michael (the manager) calls me and tells me that Im wrong, that there were chocolate swirls all around the inside of all 4 of my cups and that he watched her make my drinks himself. He wasnt there when I called the first time and it took him 2hrs to call me back, so how could have possibly watched her make my drinks? Do you see the chocolate swirls around the inside of the cups? I dont and there is still nearly half of one of the drinks still in the cup so obviously my drinks werent made correctly and they refuse to take responsibility. Offered me one free drink that I could redeem only today, either on this shift or the next one. I spent over $30 on these drinks, they were delivered late, and made incorrectly, they did not contain items that I clearly paid extra for and did not receive. I absolutely will not order from this Peets ever again! This is unacceptable!! Michael ought to be fired, he is hands down the worst manager Ive ever dealt with in the food industry.

Comment: The horchata oat milk latte was delicious if you’re a vegan and their regular coffee also has a great flavor. Inside is small but they also have a few tables in back which I didn’t see until I needed to use the restroom which requires a code to unlock. Lots of yummy pastries some of which are also vegan. Employees were friendly and nice and one even started singing for a few while we were there. Definitely a nice central location if you’re looking for a nice variety of coffee, tea and pastries. Parking on 20th between I and J was free for 2 hours which was also helpful. Definitely recommend!

Comment: I love this Peets, the employees are so friendly. The only thing is that the bathroom needs to be opened by staff and it locks right after you close it which is really inconvenient. The door is heavy too so it kind of slams shut. It was also messy.

Comment: Peets retail shelf is looking good. The display says, check me out!, not buy, buy, buy! Mighty Leaf tea is a recent acquisition for Peets, and its a good one. And with a friendly staff theres always coffee talk & tea talk: the coffee is nice, rounded out (my term); the tea is the best brewed in a pot and steeped as long as you wish. Peets is my go-to, and has been since I first discovered it in (wait for it...) 1985!

I have become accustomed to great coffee and Peets is the only chain coffee shop that I enjoy. I know, snooty tooty over here. The food isnt anything special though.
