Comment: Got a double espresso to go and found what looked like very little liquid. Had a measuring cup on hand and found it was a reasonably measured single, but had been hoping to use the double in a recipe. The stuff itself was fine, if on the bitter side, but a very inopportune mistake by the staff.

Comment: The cashier is always great but the bar staff are not so friendly. When they ask your name dont expect them to call it for your food. I was waiting for my name to be called and when I went to check the order had been sitting there. Not too happy about a cold meal when it should be warm. This is the second time I have been here and unfortunately will be my last.

Comment: The staff here are amazing. 10/10. Met up with a friend for coffee. A mentally ill person came into the cafe and started to scream at us. The employee help guide the lady out of the store while keeping calm. He also made sure to check on us before and after the situation escalated. Thank you!!!!

Comment: Surprised at the wait time and not pleased with the coffee. As a rule, much prefer Peets to the ubiquitous coffee chain, but todays coffee had a strong bitter aftertaste. Staff was friendly and polite, and they gave status updates as to your place in the coffee-making line, which was helpful. The location was super handy, after leaving the San Francisco Airport on the way to Alameda.

Comment: This is very belated but I just wanted to give a shout out to the awesome staff at this location. I locked myself out of my car at 5am on thanksgiving day (no keys, no phone, no wallet) and it was dark and I was pretty scared. Peet’s wasn’t open yet but a staff member allowed me in, let me borrow their personal phone, offered me something to drink, and made sure I was safe and locksmith was on the way before I left. I feel like people aren’t so kind to strangers anymore, at least not like this, and I can’t say how much I appreciated their help. Thank you Peet’s staff, you really saved me!

Comment: If you get in there early in the morning, no problem. The line isnt crazy which usually is given the location. Parking can be hard to find but there are several parking lots. Service is good and very helpful. Lots of choices you can make, Lattes, Cappuchino, Mochas....I like to add little nutmeg to my coffee. Enjoy your cup of coffee everyday!

Comment: Always a better cup of coffee. I usually hit the Starbucks by my office because they have a drive thru and its easy. But the coffee at Peets is so much better. Not bitter. And Pumpkin Latte is far superior to the PSL at Starbucks. Just better coffee flavor. And lets not forget about the crispy ham and swiss. Absolutely the best. No comparison to the ham and swiss at Starbucks. Good job Peets.

Yeah, I pay $5 for that!!! Asked him to fill it with milk, and guess what? He filled it with cold milk! I asked him again to remake, and he did, but the taste was absolutely awful! He definitely put too much spice in it! In purpose? I don’t know! But will not go there again! Thanks for waisting 15 minutes of my life, $5 and good mood!

Comment: My experience today at this store was not pleasant. I paid for a small chai latte with almond croissant. I didnt like what I get. The chai latte was just a boiled milk far from chai latte. My almond croissant was not the regular one, it was a croissant with almond in the top no sweet fillings. I pay over $7 to get mediocre quality. Just disappointed.

Comment: I go here just for coffee beans. The staff changes every couple of months and the quality is not to my standard at times. The quality of their ice beverages are some times watered down. On the plus side this place is amazing for studying. There is a lot of parking, seating and air conditioned!

Comment: I used to frequent here but they messed up my order one too many times so i rarely visit. Its a hit or miss as far as customer service. The best thing about this place is the layout. The window seating offers good cozy & quiet spots to hang out at, work, do some reading or chat it up with a friend.

Comment: Oh, I so miss Peets (sob!) Im in Starbucks land now (sob). BUT I still do my Peets on my own espresso machine! I do miss the staff at this Peets location - its a daily thing for me for years, so its got that home coffee bar vibe. Street parking only (paid), so it can be a challenge, and yes, just like any other coffee bar, expect lines.

Comment: People working here were very friendly and they all move with a sense of urgency as if each customer were priority. I liked that. More importantly, the coffee was brewed perfectly each time. I love coffee and I know my brew. They capture exactly how I want my coffee to be. Unlike other coffee shops that are more about commercialized coffee and products, this store is the real coffee biz.The ambiance is relaxing, and the people who goes here are mostly either businessmen, students, or coffee-aficionados. Plenty of electronic outlets, plenty of chairs and desks. Over-all, this place is more than decent-- it is excellently managed! I highly recommend it.
