Comment: Coffee was so good. The actual expresso is not acidic like many american coffees. I even really enjoyed the Turkish coffee. The breakfast is so good too! Great service and food. The only recommendation is to get AC inside because it’s hot and uncomfortable to eat inside. Thanks guys !!

Comment: One of the worst Lattes I have ever had. Tasted like they brew over the previous espresso shot. If you want a real espresso drink go up street. You will pay more but it is worth it. Their treats looked like they were from Costco. The reviews are not that bad so I don’t get it but no matter how convenient it is to the beach, we will not be going back.

Comment: We stayed nearby and this became my favorite coffee spot. The mochas are really, really good. Rich and silky with great flavors. We also came back for a smoothie (decent) and a Thai tea with boba (not too sweet, enjoyed it a lot). There are a couple of tables outside if you want to take a load off.

The woman working the register was incredibly rude. She greeted others on the line before and after politely but barely seemed to want to give my boyfriend and I the time of day. She then forgot about our order and was condescending when we asked when our drinks would be ready after waiting awhile. Im genuinely confused about our experience considering the high rating this place has.

Comment: We ordered the Mediterranean plate and Avocado toast. The quality wasn’t bad but also not amazing. The portions were not even close to enough and also don’t get tricked by the pictures. For the Mediterranean plate there was no turkish black tea, no butter eith the honey, Mozzarella and Feta cheese were not there and the olives were not good either. The place is really nice and the coffee is good we had hammerhead, latte, and americano and all were good. We also had a cherry and cheese danish which was good too. The staff were nice and friendly too.

Comment: Yesterday was my 2nd time there. The first time we tried coffee and smoothie which were good. This time they had Turkish ice cream (last time they were out). We have tried and it is perfect. It is the closest one real Turkish ice cream you can find in San Diego. The flavors are real and tasty. Parking is problem as the shop is close to the beach.Will visit again!

I was debating my selection and the gentleman (the owner I believe!) took so much time to help me, then offered to level down the sweetness per my request. He proceeded to make me an exquisite drink but unfortunately it was cold and I had asked for warm! I hated even mentioning it! But he happily made me an equally wonderful hot drink, and then offered me the cold one on the house, and then extended it to another customer when I declined which was much appreciated. My drink was perfect sweetness and perfect flavor and even better... I love supporting good people! Thank you!

Comment: Our friend found this place last time we were in California, July 17th, and its the best! The lady who helped us was so knowledgeable and helped us find the best drinks. I got their Milk Thai tea drink which was fantastic. Perfect blend of sweet and that great Thai tea flavor. I also got Boba in mine which made it even better. My fiancé who isnt a big Boba or coffee or milk tea fan tried the Hales mango sunset and he loved it. Very fresh and refreshing flavors. Perfect for someone who just wants to try the place out. Our friend both days came in and asked for a good espresso coffee mix and he loved it so much the first day we had to some with and try it for ourselves. We loved and next time we are in the pacific beach San Diego area we will definitely come back to this place! Come try it out I highly recommend it!

Our favorites were the Aloha, the Peaches n Cream (hot Mocha) and the ice cream which was rich, creamy and fresh. The Milky Way was a bit too sweet for my tastes but the staff was really helpful in helping me choose something more appropriate the second time. Comment: This small place with one small room with 4 chairs inside caters to Arizona tourist staying in near by hotels. This place has not kept up with changing awareness in terms of hygenic practices. I ordered a simple coffee and croissant. It took 15 minutes while I was the only customer around 8 am. What was brilliant that the barrista handled my food with his hand while already forgot the order and he was reminded twice. I sat there for an hour. Bottom line is that this place is not clean.

Not good. My cousin got a Mayan, and she enjoyed it, so it wasnt a total bust, but it was overall such a bummer.

Comment: My daughter dropped me off at Pacific Beach prior to my flight home, while she ran some errands. I wanted to sit and enjoy a coffee while reading my book so I walked along Garnet Ave until I came across Pacific Bean Cafe. So glad that I stopped. The staff were friendly and shared tips on where to sit along the beach. The customers were friendly as well and willing to chat about books and adventures. The coffee and treats were delicious and at a good price. I highly recommend stopping in for a coffee and/or treat. I actually stopped before and after I went for a stroll on the beach. Enjoy!

Loved It!Sunday we ran up from South Mission, foregoing local favs to go back to the friendly Pacific Bean. After waiting in line for 10 minutes, watching coffee and Acai Bowls be prepared and distributed to those in line, before us, we were asked if we could wait for our bowl (she did give us our coffee) until she worked through the line that was behind us. Ive never been asked to wait for others, further back in line, to be served before my order was completed. Disappointed, we opted to forego the bowl and just pay for the coffee.

Comment: There was no one at the counter when i got there. Turns out the barista had to move his car. When he got there he asked me what i wanted to order. It was hot so all i really wanted was an iced black coffee. He was more than happy to make me one and even suggested to add a shot of espresso if i wanted it stronger. I just added sugarfree hazelnut syrup instead. Coffee tasted smooth and refreshing. Just what i wanted. He even gave it to me on the house for waiting patiently. I still would have paid and sId the same thing regardless. This is not a biased opinion. Great coffee in PB.

I wanted it hotter and the Barista Tyler steamed itfor me immediately.The only drawback here is the small seating area with no toilet that could use new furniture and sprucing up. However, the beach is steps away so not a major deal.The atmosphere is very friendly and chilled out.

Comment: One of the best coffee shops I have ever seen. Staff is incredibly friendly and compassionate. Everytime I am in PB, I swing in for a quick coffee and end up staying for an hour. I managed a restaurant for 6 years and a coffee shop for two and this place rocks!! Friendly suggestion to the previous reviewers, this is not Starbucks so dont complain when you dont get the drive-thru coffee experience.
