Comment: The coffee is good, the atmosphere is relaxed! They have space inside and outside! They have some artwork on display and overall its a good experience. Even when there was an error in my order, they resolved it and were always very kind. Maybe a little more variety in desserts or rolls, I was a little late but I still wish they still had options.

Comment: Chic place very upbeat and friendly, coffee shop in the morning bar at night. really chill music and the Mexican hot chocolate I had was off the chart. I also had an apple danish. The danish was heated. The crust is very layered, using a very delicate technique to create the pastry, and you can taste the lateness and the crunchiness. The apple is dense and perfectly set off the butter pastry. Highly recommend this very nice place in the heart of the barrio.

Comment: This place cares about roasting their coffee. Mixed Grounds smells like roast beans. A couple times a month I will run over before work, restock my beans and get a regular latte. The latte is always made the same. Which is amazing. It tastes smooth and is an absolute pleasure to drink. Temps are perfect for drinking with breakfast.I love the coffee magazines and friendly atmosphere. They have a spectacular roster of rotating artists.

Comment: Weird coffee names. Weird Asian fusion breakfast food on the weekend. Gentrification at its max . I didnt see any locals in there. I can see how it can be intimidating to walk in. Comment: Ordered two pour overs and an iced latte. They entirely forgot one pour over and when we reminded them, somehow looked annoyed with us.The iced latte was to take to a friend and it was water down by the time the second pour over was finally made.Both pour overs tasted like regular cheap coffee. I’m assuming this place only has good reviews because the decor and space.The coffee and “service” blow.

Comment: Havent been down on Imperial Ave for years so I thought Id check out recent developments. Had a good coffee at this spacious Cafe with excellent wifi (which you need because the cell phone network in Barrio Logan has always been subpar. Great spot for a laptop warrior.

They didnt have a large so I thought I could do with a small, but ended up getting 2 bc it was so delish! They have empanadas and almond croissants and other baked goods.My hubby liked his charcoal vanilla latte and another couple liked their mushroom... Drink. Got both hot and cold!The open air seating (in and outdoor) was great and the place is dog friendly which was super for us dog lovers.Would recommend!

It’s so rare to see a coffee shop in Logan Heights, and I love that they clearly put effort into making the building an inviting and engaging place for the community.Unfortunately the coffee drinks are not very good and the service is always so slow. I’ve never gotten a proper cappuccino there, and on my last visit the one drink I thought I could count on from this place - the Azteca Mocha - tasted like a lukewarm hot cocoa. Be prepared to wait a LONG time for your drinks. It’s not due to being busy, the staff just has no sense of urgency at all. They’ll have two or three people in the back absentmindedly wiping down counters while customer orders back up.As someone who lives in the area, I’ve visited many times over the last couple of years. But unfortunately, I’m at the point of giving up and making the longer drive to South Park or Golden Hill for my coffee.

Comment: Cool spot but misses on the drinks/service. I been coming to this spot since its imperial grounds days. Now mixed grounds. The drinks are subpar. They cant make a cappuccino (more like a latte) and signature drinks like Azteca mocha are now straight up sugar filled mochas. No longer had the same spices. Last visit was the last straw. There was 3 people in line and took over 30 minutes to get a drink. The home girl at the machine was chilling taking her sweet time to make drinks. Then the Azteca mocha was not even hot. Horrible.

Comment: I love seeing an awesome coffee shop in Logan Heights. I’m new to the area and have driven by this coffee shop several times, and finally decided to stop in and I’m glad I did. The atmosphere is peaceful and clean. A perfect place to “work from home!” The drink and food menu had so many great choices it was hard to choose! I ended up getting a delicious danish to pair with my latte. I can’t wait to come back and try an empanada and açaí bowl! I’m also am looking forward to the Tap Room opening next door.

Comment: The place seems decent enough, you can tell they try hard with decoration and creating a nice atmosphere. However, I would just stick to black coffee or lattes…I ordered a dry cappuccino, essentially a macchiato with a few scoops of extra froth, and they just gave me a latte.I picked it up and immediately could tell it was filled to the brim with milk, I asked them if this was a dry cappuccino and she said “yes” and she just then said “that means extra foam”. I didn’t argue or anything. I just left. Also, the espresso flavor inside is tasteless, all you can taste is a full cup of milk. I’d go back maybe if the staff were more receptive and just asked if they weren’t sure. Photo attached.

Ive been to coffee shops throughout the US and more often than not the people that work there are not friendly and act as if they are doing you a favor to serve you coffee- that could not be further from the case here. Everyone that works here is so friendly and you can tell they truly love their product and their work. They are so happy to explain to you their products and how its made and where they source it. Comment: Absolutely amazing. My girlfriend and I both got the Vietnamese Style Coffee and it was honestly the best tasting coffee Ive ever had. The coffee is rich, nutty, and all-around full of flavor you dont get at other coffee shops. The drink is just sweet enough to compliment the taste of the brew without covering any of it up. I could write another paragraph on how great their coffee cake is, but Ill just leave it at that. Im definitely going back next time Im in San Diego.

Comment: This place is still in its soft opening phase. We came there for the pour overs, and were not disappointed. The Mexican Chiapas coffee was mild and pleasant although not much flavor. The Guatemalan was a tad more acidic. The staff running the place were really friendly and excited about the work they wore doing.

I had a vanilla latte and my husband had the espresso over ice. It was fairly priced, and the coffee shop was cute and clean. We really enjoyed our stay more because of this coffee shop.
