Comment: Phenomenal customer service, and thats the only reason this place gets 3 stars. Ive never gotten a coffee that was undrinkable before; its so acidic i assumed the milk that was used had gone bad, but nope! Just the roast style. Real bummed we paid $20+ for a tummy ache. :C

Comment: What a VIBE! This place is a very simple and beautiful space. It seems like a large house converted to business/retail which I love! The window light in the morning is wonderful, I love the colors, the staff is incredibly friendly and the overall feeling in inside is wonderfully warm. I see a lot of people working remotely from a room to the side and it honestly looks like a great place to do that. The patio area is lovely as well.But the real standout here is actually the Latte. I had the Apple Hill Latte and it was perfect. This is one of those lattes that you would be hard pressed to find it anywhere else and you feel yourself craving. 10/10 will be back to try more!

Comment: This place is so cute!! My friend & I were trying new coffee shops so this was our first time here & the worker was friendly & made our drinks fast. We tried the Lavender Latte with Oatmilk. It was very delicious!! They are a touch on the expensive side our drinks were like $7.25 each but times are hard & prices for everything are going up, especially for small businesses. I don’t recommend you go here if you’re going to complain about prices, for us it was no biggie to pay so we really enjoyed ourselves. The inside is adorable with cute seating & the outdoor seating is nice too. I definitely recommend going on a sunny day because looking out the big bay window was amazing!

Comment: Okay, I was a little hesitant to visit this particular coffee shop simply because I lean more towards the coffee environment that provides low lighting and big couches and chairs to snuggle in. I’m pretty particular about environment.Although Milka Coffee Roasters does not provide these things, I immediately fell in love with the fact that this shop seems to be an old Victorian home. It offers natural lighting due to the fact that there are plenty windows which also makes for lots of gazing (: This coffee shop also provides lots of other seating arrangements wether you want to visit the outside seating area or a comfy spot next to one of their windows.I ordered a matcha latte and decided to dine right next to the window. It was a beautiful morning and I was very pleased with this visit.

Comment: Unbelievable and outrageous! This place fired a BLACK FEMALE employee for wanting to move up in the work force! I watched @cryingcamilla story on instagram and was truly heart broken! At first I was like this is dramatic, but as I kept watching the video and listening to her words, I could see she was absolutely 100% right! I was watching a truly heartbroken employee who was determined to work hard and show her artistic ways to better improve this business and what she got in return was a slap in the face! This is terrible management is horrible and abusing their power! Something needs to change. After reading her notes and text messages and seeing how professional she was I was truly disgusted at how this business handled this situation. I will NEVER drink coffee at this place. They place Black Lives Matter but obviously hers didn’t. Truly disturbed.Disclaimer: No! I do not know this woman and No! I do not follow her on instagram. I just came across this story and was truly heartbroken 💔 word spreads fast and I will continue to spread the word!

When you read the menu you wouldn’t think much of it right but never be too closed minded because you might just fall in absolute love with their coffee, lattes, and hot coco. Also for selecting the option of oat milk and it still taste just amazing you know this coffee shop is just fantastic at their ideas and hard work. The shop also was just beautiful for it keeping original structure and history and just adding in new design to blend in very well. Great job to the owner and it’s amazing employees definitely will be coming a lot more.

Comment: Love local places and this does succeed in having its own vibe. First time here gave a good impression for being a nice starter. The staff is very helpful and the location in a nice looking neighborhood.Find this place, even with mobile mapping, is not easy. There is no good signage that make this building (an old and lovely house/mansion in the day) pop out from the other houses in the neighborhood. Had to drive around twice to locate it.Like there there is outdoor seeing ground level. The main entrance is up a set of brick stairs to the second floor. The interior has a wonderful feel of an old house in structure, down to the antique fireplace. The crown molding looks original eve if the white painted walls are not well finished paint near them.The interior furnishings are minimal and have the feel of low budget. But that is also part of its charm. As this business grows, adding some old items, paintings on the wall, and some plants would add to the overall charm of this place. Additionally, far more seating is needed. There is not nearly enough for the people coming in today.The music finally just kicked in and it is nice jazzy cool vibe that doesn’t distract from the people chatting and on computers.I will return as it is nice to find a non-traditional coffee shop and feel this cozy.

Their espresso shots and espresso with milk drinks taste superb. Separately, the espresso beans Ive bought from there, which they ground for me, I used at home in a moka pot. The result was a fine tasting cup of moka pot espresso.The staff at Milka are friendly, helpful, and understand how to make coffee. The drinks Ive ordered have consistently been made well.

Comment: This place has gone downhill and quickly, which is evident by the staffs lack of customer service and surplus of superiority complex. Plenty of other shops in the area so much more welcoming and far better tasting coffee. Poor variety of alternative milk choices and by the sign posted by their neighbors next door their concerns seem greedily focused as putting a filter on the roasters afterburner is not substantial dent to the pocket book but can benefit the surrounding environment. Zero. I do not recommend this coffee shop to anyone at all.

Comment: I go to this coffee shop all the time because its roughly a block or so from where I live. The couple who own the shop are the nicest people and the idea to convert a room of their house into a coffee shop is very creative. The baristas who work here are also super chill, and its just all around a great vibe. They roast their own coffee too, and they have one of the nicest patios. Some of the best coffee in Sacramento. 10/10 would recommend.

It’s a slower place and when you wall in it feels like the guy behind the counter spent the few thousand in his bank account to retrofit his apartment into a coffee shop but that level of care is poured into their cups and it’s some of the best coffee in town.

Comment: Just stopped by here after seeing it on TikTok! They are so friendly and the coffee is delicious! Try the Apple Hill Latte! You wont be disappointed. Also the fact that its in an old Victorian home is just perfection. I will be coming here as often as I can. Prices may seem pricey but thats because they include tip and tax in there to give their employees are livable wage.

Comment: Okay such a cool, viby, beautiful place and you start getting super high expectations like the coffee has to be top notch! before this i have stalked trust bakery on ig( the bakery they serve there) and I have been dying to try it so to summarize I was very excited & had pretty high expectations. The coffee was SO watered down it was actually shocking. I got a maple latte and I will never get that again. My friend got a matcha latte with oat milk & vanilla syrup and she loved it. Coffee wise I would never come here for that. However I was super excited to try the bakery and I try to chocolate doughnut which I don’t regret trying. It was so light it didn’t make me feel like nasty or gross afterwards it literally tasted good and felt healthy I don’t know why. I do think it could’ve been a little bit more chocolatey but it was it really sweet it was more of a mild chocolate so I loved them for that. I honestly think I would come back again just to try the other varieties of those donuts. However as a coffee shop only gets three stars because the coffee I got was so water down. I’m open to trying it again maybe something went down the one time I came however at this point the coffee is enough for me. The customer service is really great though & aesthetic:)) so we took a bunch of pictures lol

Comment: Today was our first visit to this coffeehouse. We ordered an Orange Mocha, and paid $7.00 for a 12 ounce drink. Now thats a total rip-off. Their coffee drink was nothing special.The interior of this Victorian building feels like a waiting room, a very sterile environment.Their Baristas were were not that friendly. The Barista who made our drink, watched us and waited until we werent looking, then made the drink(we were paying attention). What are you hiding?Unfortunately, their roasting seems to be bothering the family next door, who has children. The 2 signs in the window of the house next door says, Stop the coffee stench, and My kids breathe this air. Our question to you as a roaster, Why dont you have an Afterburner attached to your roaster, which will remove smoke, odors and VOCs(Volatile Organic Compounds)? Having a compostable cup and lid is great, but your coffee roasting seems to be creating possible health issues for your neighbor(s).

I saw a BEAUTIFUL husky outside on the patio while their owner was sipping some delicious looking drink. Thats right the outside patio is dog friendly. The only real negative would be that the prices here are a bit more pricier than the typical Starbucks but its understandable and it is understandable.

But in Sac Town where great coffee can be found multiple places, Milka Coffee was a huge disappointment.Visually the sparse decor was chaotic as they obviously could not decide on a style let alone a color scheme. The music choice added more chaos as it was a mash up of 80’s Euro tech pop and The Jetsons. Pure chaos.Unfortunately, the atmosphere was aesthetically distressing and I will not be returning.

Comment: We were on a walk and noticed this beautiful building! Samir invited us in and made us some delicious coffee! Highly recommend this place. Its soooooo comfy and warm!!! His Dad also showed me around and told me the story of their gorgeous fire place! Cant wait to spend many afternoons in front of it.
