Comment: Best coffee you can have around the Bayview and Cortland district. The coffee that they offer is so robust and full of flavor. Cant leave thus place without trying their mexican mocha or the tres Leche latte plus, alot of pastries and sandwiches to choose from. A great place to have coffee and pastries in a great neighborhood with alot of smiles and care from the staff.

Comment: My all time favorite coffee shop! The staff are the best, they’re all incredibly kind and attentive. The atmosphere is why I often work from home there - it’s very communal! There’s a knitting club that sometimes meets up, people reading or meeting up with friends, and others who are working or studying. I’ve even become friendly with others who go regularly. Martha’s is what makes Bernal home for me. You can’t go wrong with the carrot bread and banana chocolate bread, and my favorite coffee include the lavender latte, lavender oat matcha latte, creme brûlée latte, and vanilla sweet cream cold brew.

This is the place. The coffee and the bakery are good with a wide range of selections. What stands out the most for me is the communal vibe of this place. In my opinion, Martha & Bros. is a great fit for the neighborhood. The Cafe is not overpriced compared to the other Cafes in the area. The Cafe is filled with pastries, bagged coffee, and specialty coffee. I particularly like the bagels and fluffy cream cheese. If you do visit, the Cafe has both outdoor & indoor seating. Comment: I really like this joint for their dirty chai lattes, blueberry coffee cake, and ample space for studying. Sometimes it can be a bit crowded but folks usually keep the noise level at a 2. It’s especially nice on sunny days when the shades are up. You can also sit out front and people watch.

Comment: I love this coffee shop. It is locally owned and they have a few stores but it is not a huge corporate chain. The people who work here are friendly and make great espresso drinks right where you can see them. They also have a great selection of pastries and even several vegan options. A great neighborhood gathering spot, real and authentic.

Comment: I was charged me $3 and i paid with $20 and got 11.50 back and when i tried explaining what the issue was she and her coworkers looked at me as if i was crazy or completely wrong. i’m sure it was an honest mistake but it made my anxiety go through the roof, Along with her and her coworkers laughing after exchanging something in spanish.

Comment: They get their iced coffee from a carton, every time I go here the refill price is different as if they make it up on the fly. Their coffee is usually strong at least, one of the male baristas was rude to me the last time I was there and filled up my coffee with half water in addition to ice because he misunderstood and thought I was short on money when I paid full price. Go to Progressive a couple blocks down instead

Then, the whole time I was trying to order they were talking to other people in Spanish and not paying attention to what I was saying, so I had to repeat myself several times. Also, they overcharged me and charged me 50 cents for water without letting me know that I had to pay for that. I never had to pay for tap water ever anywhere in the United States.The latte that I ordered didnt even taste like normal espresso at all, it was terrible, I didnt drink it after two-three sips.The chocolate cake was also not tasty.I will never come here again.I went next door to the Moonlight cafe and it was delicious and wonderful and awesome service.
