Comment: I been coming here for years for good food and service. However in the past few months, the night staff has been getting rude. When I visit every other week for coffee, the staff makes be feel like I am bothering them and don’t want to take my order or make changes to fit my health needs. Today I order café de olla and wanted to add condensed milk for the sweetness. The staff member look at me like was an idiot and told me it comes with it but it does not. Then proceeded to give me the smallest amount on the side.

Comment: Usually I love having sweet bread and coffee but lately, Ive had one misfortune after another. The manager is rude and completely incompetent. She didnt know how to use the email discount toward my purchase and asked me to come back another time lol! Also, I asked her twice to make my chocolate Oaxaca coffee with NONFAT milk. I clearly saw her using regular milk. She switched gallons but I wasnt able to see what she used. I got very sick and almost didnt make it to the bathroom. Some people dont understand how us lactate people can get extremely ill. This idiot needs a brain! Please hire better qualified people.

We got breakfast sandwiches, they were delicious. Our coffee was really tasty, was hoping to have it hot. But the espresso machine was broken, so we got iced coffee.

Comment: Large selection of pastries (which they will warm up for you if you ask), cakes, and coffee. I am a big fan of the cinnamon rolls, though they are better when warmed up. However the $5 breakfast biscuit sandwiches are a big disappointment as the sandwich was small overall and taste wise biscuit overwhelmed the tiny bit of egg and single slice of bacon. This location is bright and open, this place is a great place to sit and enjoy your food. If you drive, there is plenty of parking nearby. Staff was very friendly.

Comment: This is the first low rate I have ever given to a place. I was so very excited to go into the place and make a purchase, the way I was treated by the employee was very disappointing. There was only one person seating at a table, whether if he was a patron or an employee, I dont know. The point is that after looking around I was ready to make a purchase. Took the item I wanted to the counter and addressed the employee who was standing behind facing the wall. I said Excuse me, Im ready. When you have a minute, would you please help me? Since she was facing the wall and not me, I could not see what she was doing. She turned around and in a patronizing, upset, fastidious tone she said Im making food, can you please wait? Thank you- ...Thank you- ...Thank you No, is not what she said that made me upset. The tone and attitude. Patronizing a customer is never a good idea. There was no hand sanitizer anywhere in the store. The employee was wearing a face mask, which by the way Im thankful for, I would had been even more disappointed and upset if I had seen her face. I have no idea about the quality of the products. There are tables for people to seat and eat. I would not want to be in a place where employees are too busy doing their job to be troubled by customers. We are their job and customer service is king. Very disappointed with the employee. I walked out without buying anything. Definitely do not recommend visiting this place.

I had already cut into it so I didnt think I could take it back but also, I am trying to avoid contact because of covid, so I just put up with it. Another time they cancelled an order of mine for no reason and when I called they couldnt figure out why they had cancelled it. So I am not as eager to order from here as in the past. Its too bad, they used to be good.

Comment: Tried the Frozen Chompurrado and it was refreshing on a hot summer day. Not sure how I felt about it though. I didnt hate it but I am not going out of my way for it. I think I have out grown ice blended drinks in general. The hibiscus tea was a bit watery and you can see where they just have it already made in a metal container. The service was stellar and people followed the social distancing signs well. So yay!

Comment: I am very unhappy with my recent visit to this Bakery. I walked in around 7:50 this morning. And place an order for an espresso with almond milk. I asked a woman at the register if this Bakery offered any vegan pastry options and she pointed at a glass cabinet and said yes! That glass cabinet of pastries is vegan so then at that point I chose two pastries from the cabinet and added to my order.Once I finish my espresso and pastries, I decided to go on my phone. From where I was sitting I was facing those same glass cabinets about ten feet away and I noticed that one of the other options of pastries in the vegan cabinet was a type of cheese danish,So I decided to stand up and walk over to the woman behind the counter and clarify about this vegan pastry. To my great disappointment she informs me that only two options of pastries on the very top, within that cabinet were vegan!? Everything else was dairy-based. Now realizing that this woman intentionally sold me a non vegan pastry I was very upset.Of course I understand that this was my mistake I believe that it is La Monarca bakery obligation to properly, and visibly label when something is or is not vegan, or at the most correct or clarify when a customer has made a mistake Before placing an order Because now in this morning I feel sick to my stomach.

Comment: This location was great, cashier graciously offered a sample of the guava cake - which was delicious (note to self: moms birthday cake). Coffee was perfect - I asked for ice to cool it quicker and received quickly in a smaller plastic cup - which was also perfect, ☆☆☆☆☆

Comment: The soy chorizo mollete is delicious! Customer service is really good, very polite and attentive. I also recommend Cafe del Carmen, ice blended is my favorite!
