Comment: Not only the best donuts in the area but the best service too!!! Tommy the owner goes out of his way to provide exceptional service. He truly cares about his customers and community, and it shows.The donuts, aside from being super cute and aesthetic, are a perfect sweetness (I hate when it’s too sweet)! The matcha einspanner is gorgeous and also amazing! My sister and her friends come here regularly and I can totally see why :)

Comment: Worth the wait. I stopped at Kin to buy a black sesame seed latte and dozen mochi for our seniors at Mission Villa. They were so grateful! They really enjoyed the mochi. The black, sesame seed with the cream top was out of this world.

Comment: Im sorry but I do not understand the appeal. Got the mochi muffin and while texture and flavor were nice, it tasted stale. The vietnamese coffee is far too sweet. I understand its a sweet drink but this was way too much (Ive had better vietnamese coffee). I would go back to give it another chance but definitely not worth waiting in line for.

Comment: Waited in line for about an hour because it was a last minute decision to hit up this spot.. we didnt know it was so popular but after having their donuts, I can see why!I had the cookies n cream brioche donut and it exceeded my expectations. A soft filling with fluffy donut - Id absolutely come back again. I recommend getting in line before they open though as the line can get pretty busy.

Comment: Holy crud, the matcha sesame tea was so so so delicious. I will DEFINITELY be coming back for this drink. It’s so hard to find places that even offer black sesame. Such a great addition to Santa Barbara, especially with their lack of Asian shops/restaurants. Their mochi donuts were good too. They were out of brioche donuts by the time I got there, but I’m excited to try them next time!! Also, very cute decorations, had a great ambiance with kind staff :)

Comment: This is a wonderful place that makes truly exceptional donuts. Both the mochi and brioche donuts are wonderful in flavor and texture, very well thought out combinations and clearly made with love, care, and meticulous attention to detail. The line is long but well-deserved and totally worth it for such a special product! Their customer service is also excellent - you’re met with a genuine warmth and politeness that’s a breath of fresh air these days. We love Kin!

Comment: This shop really provides the community and care that a small business does for the area. The team is honest about their day-to-day circumstances and appreciation for the customers. Repeat customers get the satisfaction of watching a business grow and thrive. The doughnuts are delicious and drinks phenomenal. The wait can be long but that is testament to the consistent quality and care. (This is going ro be one of spots I miss the most from Santa Barbara)

Comment: Wow the mochi donuts and the einspanner coffees are amazing!!! The donut texture is light and fluffy but also chewy and a bit of crisp. The cream on top of the espresso latte is thick and tastes homemade. Very impressed with the food and the service is excellent too. Its a long wait to get inside but totally worth it, and they even served samples of hot tea while we waited. Thank you Kin Bakeshop! You made our day.

Comment: Literally out of this world. Their einspanner with the thick cream is soooo delicious. That cream alone is a work of art. And their mochi donuts... by far some of the best donuts Ive ever had, period. The consistency is unreal. Light yet chewy. My mind almost cant process as Ive never really had anything like it before. And the flavor combinations are truly incredible!!! If I could give 6 stars I would. Thank you Kin for giving me a delightful, brand new experience with donuts and coffee.

Comment: The food at Kin Bakeshop is incredible. The Einspanner coffee is my personal favorite, but everytime I come here with a friend, no matter who they are or what drink they order, they generally really like it. The mochi and the brioche donuts are also really tasty, but theyre known for selling out quickly. Ive had both types only a couple times with the varying flavors and they all taste really fresh & flavorful. The customer service is awesome, everyone who works here is extremely friendly and the owner, Tommy, is a cool guy to have a conversation with. The ambiance and overall feel of the shop is very clean and nice to be in.

Comment: This little bakery is an absolute WOW🤩 The coffee with freshly made whipped cream is superb. The donuts are super tasty and beautiful. I am so glad I came across this place. People told me there was usually a long line. I guess I got lucky 😁🍩

Comment: I really didn’t want to write a poor review for this place, but I feel the need to be honest. You get absolutely no value when you buy their drinks. I ordered a sesame latte. When it came out, it was a pretty small cup and the entire drink was filled with ice. The latte itself wasn’t even touching the brim. You basically get a cup of ice with a splash of latte in it. For SEVEN dollars. I got maybe 3 sips out of that cup? By the way, I tried to override the system and ask for no/light ice. The woman at the counter told me it’s impossible because “they measure everything precisely” and not adding ice will change the formula?I was so happy when I found this bakery as I used to live in the Bay Area and miss going to Asian bakeries. However, this one was a big disappointment. I hope they read this review and take it close to heart to make a change. A good running business is when a customer pays for something that has value, but it my opinion this was a plain robbery

Comment: Wonderful place with delicious donuts. Their donuts are the best in this area. The dough just melts in your mouth, they are not very sweet and give you a taste of the fillings. Very nice polite staff. There are huge queues here. The place is really popular, so come early. The prices for donuts are very high, but the taste justifies the price

Comment: So grateful that we have such a top-quality bakeshop in SB! Been there multiple times already, and I cant wait for the grand opening. Youre missing out a lot if you havent tried their brioche yet. Theres always a long line (takes about 1.5 hours to get in), so get there early before donuts get sold out. As for the drinks, hochicha and black sesame cream top are my favorite. Again, dont wanna trigger your fomo, but if you havent heard about this place yet, youre missing out big time fr
