Comment: March 2024:Stopped by for a cup of afternoon coffee. Saw that if you buy beans, they give you a free coffee. So I bought a bag of their house blend and enjoyed the coffee. 😄 It was probably a medium roast coffee, which I enjoyed.Service was friendly and the space is quite nice. Would definitely come back again.

Comment: Obviously, really great coffee.What makes this place a unique gem is how Marcel has curated such a warm inviting space to build community. That’s what the local coffee shop should be. I was visiting from out of town and I was treated like a cherished regular who had been coming daily for years.

Comment: I’ve been here a couple of times and remember it being good coffee (their tagline is it’s a place for exceptional quality coffee bar).Went in today and the barista told us he didn’t know how to make hot drinks because he hasn’t learned to use the steamer. We got iced lattes and honestly it felt like drinking coffee flavored milk. Didn’t even finish it.I don’t blame the barista if he wasn’t trained properly but I do find it weird that the owner would let an untrained person work the whole place by himself.At almost $7 a latte, please don’t experiment with my experience.

Comment: Had a great drink (tumeric and ginger chai) and absolutely wonderful experience with the staff. I lost my jewelry that day and the manager reviewed camera footage for me for some hours, which helped me narrow my search range and eventually found the jewelry. He was very helpful.Highly recommend!

Comment: I’m so glad I was able to check out Ikon since it’s so close to my house! Parking was challenging on a weekday, and it’s tucked into an industrial/high-rise condo area. There’s a big drop-in window, and some outdoor seating.Anthony the barista was SO friendly. He was like a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day.I ordered a ginger turmeric chai that was tasty and comforting. The standout was the cuñape which was a savory pastry that had a chewy consistency because of taro flour. I enjoyed the whole experience!

Comment: Hidden gem in dogpatch. Coffee is smooth and the interior is beautiful inside. You wouldn’t expect a coffee shop like this when initially walking around.The barista was the best part. He made convos with everyone and even said ‘please come back for refills’ to the gentlemen in front of me. I do pour overs and then provided his tips on how to brew a better cup. It gave that small, local neighborhood coffee shop that some of these shiny sf cafes lack.There is street parking. Small seating indoors and outdoors.Will return !

Comment: If you’re wondering why this spot has 5/5 rating, step inside the coffee shop to find out for yourself! This is easily the best cold brew I’ve had in SF. Fair price, robust flavor, not watered down at all. Made with a careful process that never touches hot water. Can’t wait to have it again.Everything about this coffee shop is well thought out. Very nice interior, with a bar seating in front of a huge open window. Everyone that works here is patient and nice. I got to meet the owner Marcel who is very kind and passionate. They will be expanding their menu soon, only been open for 60 days.Come on down and support this fantastic business. Really a hidden gem in SF, for coffee enthusiasts. Can’t say enough good things!

Comment: I love this community coffee shop! They opened just recently, early spring 2023, and it’s quickly become my favorite spot for coffee. Marcel, the owner, is a very passionate and skilled roaster, the coffee is delicious, and the staff is all very friendly. The pastries are great too and include pan de queso from his grandmas recipe. There’s a good bar to sit and work, or just hang and people watch on this corner in Potrero Hill.
