Comment: I have to say the bakery items here are really, really good, and Id highly recommend their Vietnamese coffee! But we did not like their other drinks as much. They were a lot more sugar than coffee.Also, they had an absolutely huge line, and somehow, our orders got completely missed within the crowd so we ended up waiting quite a bit extra. They were really nice about it, though, and started working on it immediately once we asked.

Comment: I was just wandering by and decided to stop here for a chai latte. So glad I did! The salmon lox bagel was one of the best I’ve had. They accidentally made me a dirty chai. I don’t like coffee, but it was actually pretty good, so I opted to keep it even though they offered to remake. Instead, he gave me a complimentary pastry. 5 stars for the excellent food and customer service!

Both were extremely hearty, with a light, fluffy crust. Yes, both were absolutely delicious.I was also impressed with the coffee which was strong flavor for delicious and probably better than Starbucks.I definitely recommend us for breakfast, it’s probably what you’re looking for.

It was exactly what I had envisioned, if anything, it was BETTER!!!! I actually screamed from excitement after seeing the cake. It was the showpiece of my shower decor. Everyone wanted to take a picture of it or with it! The fun thing was that it was completely fake and I was able to keep the whole thing!!! I plan on using this cake for every single birthday for the rest of my life honestly. ITS THAT PRETTY!

So I took a seat, he went to the back and started pulling out trays. a couple people came in, I let them go ahead of me since I was going to get so many, I didnt want them to be without the ones they wanted. The guy who runs it is so nice and telling us the ones we HAVE to take because they are SO GOOD! I took his advice and took off to work. As I am bringing them into the office, the box is still warm! I opened it up and all you can smell was the pastry goodness. Everyone devoured them! I wasnt even able to get a photo of them!Beyond amazing!

Comment: I came to hygge to try their rye bread. Its hard to find good rye. Unfortunately I still dont know if theirs is worth the trip because they demand 48 hours prior notice of your arrival, which I failed to provide and thus went home empty handed. Guess they dont like surprises.

Comment: Very impressed by the owner who showed great sensitivity to his customers needs.He made it a point to make sure I was satisfied and when he discovered that I had been waiting, he made it a point to give me a free pastry (which was a delicious chocolate croissant).Considerate customer service always makes for a positive experience.

Comment: Went for the first time yesterday and I am going back today. The pastries were fantastic and the cappuccino was very good. It was just like going to a pastry shop in Europe. If you want a touch of Europe, this is the place!

Comment: Best. Cookie. Ever.Thats it, really.Perfect consistency, decadence, and proportion of chocolate to dough.I wish they had a KC without nuts but thats not worthy of taking a star away.I had the KC with walnuts and my husband had the peanut butter choc cookie and both were out of this world and I consider myself a cookie connoisseur. Worth the calories and 7 miles I walked to get there.

Comment: I was so surprised to learn that I had moved onto a block in Downtown Los Angeles with a Danish bakery, and let me tell you, these pastries and cakes bring me back to growing up in Iceland (we imitate the Danes on many baked goods), and particularly the Slice tastes just about exactly as good as it does at the bakery down the street from my moms house in Reykjavik. Highly recommended, and if youve never experienced marzipan, definitely try one of their marzipan cake options!

Comment: My wife and I have a loft around the corner at Elleven and love the pastries and cakes at Hygge. The quality is excellent and the variety very good. Your idea of Danish will never be the same. Go, and enjoy!!!
