Comment: I just came in and ordered a pumpkin spice latte that Ive been looking forward to all day. I usually love Caje and always say great things about them. But today I asked for a decaf latte and I got a regular latte with caffeine! This is a really big deal as I have a condition that doesnt allow me to have caffeine. Im very upset because I didnt figure out that it was caffeinated until Id already taken a few sips. I will be up all night literally! My heart is racing and Im hoping that I dont have to now take medication to calm my heart. So very disappointed in my service. To all the baristas out there, its a really big deal when someone asks for decaf but gets caffeinated instead!

Average coffee shop service. Their large is only $0.50 more!Ambiance | 4/5 | Its a very trendy coffee shop in the Paseo Nuevo shopping center with deck seating on State Street and benches indoors. If youre looking for the picture worthy drinks that are really done up presentation-wise, dont come to this location. They have two other locations on Haley (3pm close) and Arlington (1pm close, upper State St) that do that. So while I do appreciate that this location closes at 7/8pm and is in the middle of the busiest part of State St, its very much to-go coffee with a basic food menu.

They made the worst blended coffee and iced coffee ever. I shouldve just bought my coffee at Starbucks at least they add flavor to the coffee. Never coming back here again.

We had a cortado and vanilla cappuccino Bo the were fantastic. Great house made vanilla. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for great cup while shopping.

Comment: I wish I could say this was a great experience. I came to visit Santa Barbara for the first time with my three sisters and came across Cajé Paseo Via Square. I bought $7 coffees for each of my three sisters and myself. The taste was so bad, one of my sisters said it tasted like raw meat and all of us agreed. We each took a couple sips and could not proceed to torture ourselves any longer. We had to throw each of them away. What a waste of $28.

Second, no latte art on a cortado (Gibraltar), I know! Im being super picky but come on, I love me some latte art on everything milky (- Capp).Good service, good music, good coffee and plenty of seating.

The roast I got in my latte tasted sour and burnt and the matcha tasted like heavy cream and ice with not one hint of matcha... Comment: This place just exuded high end vibes from the moment we approached. Nice outside area with cool array of chairs, basically an outside coffee lounge (great music playing). The inside of the Caje is also a real vibe. Horizontally mounted record player spinning funk. Great list of drinks. We did two Cortados one of which had a swan which was next level. We ended up sitting out here for an hour and a half and had our family meet us. (They have limited food option but the bagel was great and hit the spot)

Comment: I love Cajé Coffee Roaster! They make some amazing drinks. My favorite drink is a toss up between either the house made Vanilla latte or the house made Carmel latte. Yum! I also got a bag of their roasted coffee beans to take home with me. Their bag designs are very artistic and are a fun addition to my kitchen counter top.
