Comment: The atmosphere was nice and the drinks were delicious. Love the blossoms🌸 🌸 and swings added to the beautiful concept of walking through a blossom Korean garden. The experience was great. The only downside was that the place didnt have an air conditioner.

Comment: I love how cute this drink is! This was a while back, but what sucked about my trip here was that when I paid for my order with my card and the cashier asked if I needed a receipt and I said no, the cashier turned her tablet around and automatically added a tip without asking me :/ I knew bc the total she told me was smaller than what I saw on my bank account 😭 Besides that, it was a cute shop and the drink was good!

Place is small but dazzling foodie lounge, they got a good selection of Boba tea drinks, interesting mochi donuts (Taro is the best imo) which is a variation of dongo balls in a circular ring. Young children teens will most likely be appeared by the ambience.

Comment: My go to boba drink fix! They are one of the best, especially if you like tapioca pearls, they have perfected it. I switched between brown sugar milk tea or the oolong roasted milk tea. I got the latter this time with the surprise cup, (comes with a plush toy for extra $). Girl in front was very thoughtful to offer help since I was in crutches. Their decorations are as other branches, loaded with pink.

Comment: Ordered 2 Taro Lattes and as a smoothie option. First, I felt the flavor of them were too watered down. The sweetness was good and the brown sugar boba was good. However… the smoothie option is not a smoothie I guess? It was just in a holographic cup instead? Then the young lady came up to the counter and says they are out of donuts. Why do you make your customers pay and tip then you tell them you have no donuts? Comment: The signature milk tea is good. Order online and pick it up for the best experience. If you go there and order, you have to use their self ordering ipad thing. So might as well do it at home before getting there. We paid extra for the fried cream cheese and didnt get it. Didnt notice until we got home. So I recommend checking your order before hand. Not sure if thats a common thing at this place. This is the first time here.

A lot of tea shops have adjusted ice 0%--100% option, but only this bober tea did not provide that option, always add a lot ice into their drink and sell high price. We ordered 10 minutes ahead of time, got text for pick up, and had to wait for another 10 minutes because they wanted to show me their policy. The teenagers had to educate me on why I had to wait. My children loves bober tea, but I would never order at this location ever again. The business owners need to train their staff for a more friendly and efficient environment.

Comment: The ordering process felt terrible. There’s no way to adjust or make any variations to the drinks and the UI is not intuitive at all. One of the machines was out of order and I didn’t come to that conclusion until I had already gone through and selected my drinks to try and check out. I can understand how it would be a profitable business model to have two ordering screens and two people making the drinks behind the counter but it makes for a very poor customer experience. The boba is not worth it to go out of my way here or to support this business model. Just to get my drinks, the wait for 2 drinks end-to-end was 20 minutes. Don’t recommend. Overall vibes felt very cold with people just standing waiting for their drinks or for an ordering screen.

Either the manager or maybe it was the boss, treats their staff like trash and its very unsettling. The kiosk is super slow, took about a minute for any item page to load. Couldn’t even sit down as the chairs are absolutely gross and dirty. I also ordered crystal jelly, which is extra, and didn’t receive ANY, didn’t notice until I got home. I drove 30 minutes for a disappointing experience.

You also adjust the sweetness of the drink. We had six in out party and everyone was very pleased with their drink and desert. The environment is very sweet itself. Definitely, a place to be revisit in the future.

Comment: The donuts are amazing. The drinks are pretty good, I guess it depends on what you like. Even at 25% my tea was still too sweet for me, and it was super milky even though I ordered a black tea with the foam topping. I couldn’t actually taste any tea. I like good black tea and I like it to taste like tea, not sweet gooey milk. The boba is also super soft and gooey, I prefer a more firm boba. So I think it’s good for what it is, but it’s not my preference. Also, there is no way to customize the ice level and the self order kiosk really slows things down.

The oolong didnt taste like oolong as well as the regular milk tea. No tea flavor just sugar. The boba tasted good. Overall if you want a milk shake than this place is for you.They also sell mochi donuts. I didnt get it. Just had to mention that it was a thing they sold.

Comment: I tried this place for the first time today. I ordered 6 mixed doughnut and a drink but I dont remember what its called. It had pandan leaves or extracts in it though. Customer service was good and the shop is beautiful. The drink & doughnuts were good, but it didnt give me the wow factor that I was expecting for the pricing. I was expecting each doughnut to taste different, but all of them tasted kind of the same & I couldnt really tell them apart. I also agree that there are way too many ice in the drink. For $6+ for a small and $15 for 6 small doughnuts, I find it a bit too expensive for the size so I will not be a returning customer.

Comment: I am a customer & a doordasher of Bober. After today I will no long support. My girlfriend went inside. Only customer in the store. There was 2 employees, the The feminine boy & a girl . They were just laughing. Both saw she was standing there. (4mins)No acknowledgement. Until another customer comes in Behind her!!! &the boy asked “doordash pick up?” Looking right past my her! Then the girl finally says “for pick pick up or order” super rude. Then my gf stated “waiting to order “ then she replied again in a rude tone “you can’t order here you have to order there” pointing at the kiosk. Normally we order online & then pick up. This is our first experience in person ordering. When the drinks were finally done the boy set the drinks down. Called her name& walked away from the front counter quickly. On top of that it wasn’t even the complete order. We ordered a doughnut, when she told him he responded “oh you did!?!” Sarcastically. My girl is very sweet/ well mannered person. So I called to ask when a manager comes in. To which she said “is there something I can help you with?” When I said no & Insisted what time the manager comes in. She hung up. And when I tried to call again it went straight to voicemail. Which leads me to believe she blocked my number and that is very unprofessional. Train your staff better on customer service. Looks like this isn’t the first complaint about it.

Comment: Time for my weekly boba! Found out there is this boba store, and decided to give a try. Ordered three drinks, the signature drink which is like a milk brown sugar with boba and another brown sugar drink and also a strawberry tea. They all tasted very good especially for the strawberry drink. Refresh and sweet. However they don’t adjust the sweetness on this drink which I was a little bit disappointed. Boba 🧋 drinks are good and boba was soft and warm. Definitely recommended and will definitely come back again.We came back couple times and it’s been disappointed. Wait time is about 20 minutes and the boba been making me really sick the last couple times

Comment: The ceremonial grade matcha seems like a gimmick or the staff just didnt whisk it enough. Ceremonial matcha is supposed to be extremely frothy and creamy but this one was grainy and flat. For 6 bucks it was very medium. The kung fu black tea had good tea flavour. Very middle of the road boba, definitely no TP Tea level. Id put it above share tea and gong cha but not by much. Its also pretty expensive.

Comment: Ive been to a place similar to this in Friscos Japantown. That place is much better than ours in Sacramento. The mochi donuts here are just not that good - especially since they charge you $15 for 6 donuts! In Frisco, the mochi donuts are cheaper for a dozen than they are here for just 6 donuts. There is a big difference in taste as well. The Frisco mochi donuts are way better tasting. Its cool that Sacramento is finally getting some rare Japanese treats, but for the quantity and quality of the mochi donuts here, its just not worth the price... not even close. I hate to hate, but its the truth and I dont think people should be getting ripped off without knowing. There bobba drinks are even around $6 for a small! Starbucks is cheaper!

Comment: Bober is very nicely decorated perfect if you want to get a pretty picture of your drink. The cups are very cute with a bear engraved into the cup lids with bear ears! They use computers to let people order without having to come into contact with others and are currently only accepting card. They have many different options of teas, toppings, flavors, and stir fried tapioca pearls! The only downside is that they dont have any air conditioning, to my knowledge, and is hot during summer. But Bober is an awesome place to get boba and a cup is around $5-6 and have the chewing doughnuts!

The drink selection and taste is also really good, however please believe any review that complains about the awful amount of ice they put in the drinks. Its WAY too much. I got a large and it was gone in 5 minutes. They fill the whole cup with ice and one of the reviews said you cant opt out of ice. I dont know if thats true but Ill update once I find out. Another note is that the milk teas are WAY too sweet. Ive gone there twice with lessened sweetness and its still too sweet. And I have a high sugar diet so...My last complaint is just that these drinks are on the expensive side.

Never even seen any drink shop splits the kitchen into two parts. Seal machine is inside, boba is on the outside. Some tea is made is made is inside, some of not. So they have to pass drinks in and out. TBH, not very smart for selling drinks.2. Whoever takes the order also has to make the drink which will slow the process once more. And it will get messed up from time to time.3. 2 staff in Happy lemon can make at least 10 drinks in 5 minutes. 5 staff here can’t even make 2 drinks in 10 minutes. Hiring almost triple the people and not even functioning at half of the speed is simply crazyGet rid of the donuts please, no one is buying them.I ordered two drinks at 6:15pm. Comment: I love looking for new small business spots in the area and couldnt wait to try Bober Tea after seeing all the awesome and unique tea flavors and add-ins. Bober did not disappoint. We went as soon as it opened and there was already a line. My husband tried the Winter Melon Milk Tea with Brown Sugar Boba (Not pictured) and I went for their Signature Boba drink that was out of this world with Brown Sugar Black Milk Tea Stir-fried Boba and creme brulee cream cheese foam on top. If you are looking for a unique and delicious experience then try out Bober and they will be opening a new location in Midtown in November which I cant wait to visit.

Comment: Quality tea, unique cheese topping, Instagram-worthy interior, tasty pastries, and fantastic service- I am a huge fan of Bober.They’re newly opened so with so many new staff members learning they’re a hit or miss with their brown sugar boba (perfectly done to not cooked enough) and are still working out exact prices on their menu. However every tea that I’ve had so far has been consistently cooked, the perfect richness and not overdone or bitter. Plus, their cheese topping is incredible; it’s super creamy and a lot like a pretzel in its aftertaste. It gives Happy Lemon next door a run for their money.There’s currently a promo with every purchase you can get $1 off a pastry and their grand opening BOGO should be coming up soon.I suggest they get their boba cooked more consistently and when ordering, staff offer sugar levels and ice levels to customers but besides those, I think this is a really solid boba place.

Comment: Was a bit of a wait due to social distancing requirements, but understandable, and not their fault. There was some issue with their ordering system but there can be kinks that need working out with any newly opened business. Ordered their Chizu Kung Fu Black Tea, their Chizu drinks are their line of cheese cream drinks. Great decor and had an inviting nice smell of baked goods. I consider Happy Lemon to be the pinnacle of cheese cream drinks and of all the other cheese cream drinks Ive tried (T4, iTea, Rare Tea), Bobers, to me, tastes the closest, if not, the same. I encourage others who enjoy boba tea to visit Bobers and support this newly opened business.
