Comment: This Cafe is super classy & clean. I love the atmosphere - nice & cozy, tons of comfortable seating, beautiful yet minimalistic decor. Best coffee Ive had in Sacramento & Ive lived here for 12 years. Its coffee for adults - not too sweet - just right. The espresso isnt even slightly bitter. The Chagachino is an absolute treat & the White Chocolate Mocha is literally perfect. The breakfast options are legit as well. Theres a vegetarian, meat alternative breakfast pastry I was very impressed with. They also offer Zoeys (?) Breakfast Tacos which are delicious. The staff are kind & genuine - no fake/forced conversation with customers. They usually play great music as well - Modest Mouse, Deathcab, Neutral Milk Hotel ❤️ peaceful, poetic stuff. Perfect for morning time.

Comment: Made a stop here while strolling through old sac on a busy morning and got a iced vanilla latte. What makes a perfect vanilla latte is its simplicity but still vibrant flavor of espresso and vanilla; this place has that down. The baristas were very nice too, I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in old sac. 4.8/5.

Comment: I have to give this place 4.5 to 5 stars. Finding good coffee at the waterfront is hard to come by and glad they opened up a couple years ago. Their retail space is vast and I was told its because the building belongs to a church. The church started the side project of operating a cafe where proceeds are donated to non profits across Sacramento, a win win of sorts.There are a few tables available for dine in and they also provide wifi for students or the self employed. The ambiance, interior designed is well intentioned, coffee and pastry selection on point. Parking can get expensive but if youre in Old Sac definitely stop by for proper coffee!

Comment: My first visit was five star. Very friendly and helpful staff and my coffee were phenomenal. I liked it so much I recently drove all the way from Roseville for a morning cup of coffee. Sadly, my second visit was not as pleasant. The girl that helped me was absolutely hating her job. We felt like we were inconveniencing her. Unfortunately, the coffee was not tasty at all. Consistency is very important at a coffee shop. With that said, I definitely won’t make the drive back to Blue Print.

Comment: We came on a rainy and windy day for coffee. We were five people in the group. We were super excited to try out the pastry and coffee in old sacramento. Inside the restaurant is nice and bright with big glass windows.Everyone in our group felt the cashier was not friendly and forgot to show the warmth welcoming attitude. I think the cashier needed coffee to cheer up her face up. She was having little attitude as if we were causing extra work for her. I’m sorry, if that’s how you felt. We were there just for coffee and little relaxation to sit and discuss our plans.Tables were little dirty. They have street parking.

The coffee tasted fresh, and bold. The muffin was tasty, but was cold due to refrigeration. Next time, Ill ask if they could warm up the pastry.Lots of seating both indoor and outdoor. Located in a historic district of Sacramento. Would recommend for a cup of Joe.

Comment: If there is one thing that Old Sacramento was lacking, it was an above average, family-owned and operated coffee shop. There was only one place within walking distance and that was none other than Steamers. But here in Sacramento, we like our varieties. After I saw a consistent number of my Yelp friends checking in and raving about this place, I had to see (and of course, taste) what the big fuss was all about. This takes me to Blueprint Coffee Project.Located at the tail end of Old Sacramento directly on 2nd Street, Blueprint Coffee opened its doors during the fall of 2020, right in the heart of the COVID-19 pandemic which was a gutsy move for many new businesses that are just trying to get things rolling. However, since I do not come out here very often, I finally made the trip on the morning of Sunday, July 18, 2021 at around 11:45am. As expected (on any given weekend day), parking is non-existent out here no matter what time of day it is. I had to park at least 1/4 mile away but luckily this was before the heat kicked in.Once I arrived, I was amazed with the size of this place. Bright, open, cheerful, lively, and absolutely spacious, this place utilized and maximized their square footage available to its full potential. The main ordering area is simple with only a few drinks to choose from. But the other half of the building has a lounge area with comfy sofas, modern chairs, and a perfect backdrop that is very Instagram-worthy.Since this was my first time here, I went with a simple Iced Vanilla Latte priced at around $4.50 + tax. Keep in mind, their menu is very basic by only offering drop coffee, lattes, mochas, and tea. And to those that have been to Mast Coffee off of Broadway, they are part of the same ownership. Nothing out of the ordinary but sometimes, simpler is better. During my visit, they didnt really have any food with the exception of a few select donuts. Perhaps in the future, they may expand their menu with pastries and sandwiches but I am perfectly okay with their focus on drinks only.One interesting thing about this place is that it shares the same building as Project Church which also has the same owners as Blueprint. During my visit while enjoying my drink, a crowd of churchgoers arrived after the 11:00am session. As I mentioned, the space is utilized very conveniently for a large gathering and I am so happy Old Sacramento is giving customers as well as out-of-towners options. With that said and done, I am giving Blueprint Coffee Project an above average four-star rating.

The coffee was also not great; the espresso tasted like a medium roast versus a dark roast espresso. Kind of like the coffee you get at Dennys. It was expensive and not worth it.

The space is quite open and I imagine will serve as a great hangout spot once dine-in options are allowed. The staff was super friendly, everything felt clean and safe, and the menu is fairly priced. Comment: Ive been to Old Sac a bunch of times, and there has never been a good coffee option. I think the closest is Roots near Doco. Blueprint offers a transcendent experience through both the flavors and atmosphere. Cant wait to grab a latte and check out all the lights during Christmas time.
