Comment: I have a long commute with a connection at Glen Park BART. When I missed the shuttle today my consolation/reward was a trip to Bello Coffee & Tea while I waited for the next bus. Where else can I get a seahorse latte? And the barrista made the best tasting latte I can imagine! I may have to make a habit of missing the bus!!

Comment: While waiting for a Muni bus at Diamond and Bosworth in the Glen Park neighborhood, I noticed a Cafe called Bello Coffee & Tea. Even if I didnt notice the Cafe, I could smell the strong coffee aromas which was reason enough to visit. Inside, the Cafe I felt a quaintness and comfortable ambience. The aesthetics are nice and are a mix between wood, glass and brass. The Coffee itself is very good and is grounded onsite. Since my visit was early in the morning, I enjoyed a pastry which was nothing special but fresh and protected by a glass case. Bello will be my new Cafe whenever I am in the Glen Park area, mostly because of the product quality, customer service and ambience.

The espresso here is top notch.Ive always wanted to try this place because of the amazing aroma I smell when I walk past on my way to Bart. Finally stopped in around 9am on a Thursday morning. No line. Spent about $8 (before tip) on two drinks which were made very quickly. The espresso here is very smooth. Not bitter or sour at all.The vanilla rose latte was wonderful. Very delicate sweetness and rose flavor that is not overpowered by the vanilla. Very pretty Instagrammable foam designs on the lattes.The lavender white chocolate mocha was also very nice and had a very gentle lavender flavor that paired nicely with the white chocolate. I opted for no whipped cream so I got another nice foam design on top.

Comment: Bello is a jewel in this gentrified neighbourhood with great coffee and reasonable prices. There are tables and counter benches with stools to sit at although the tables seem to be monopolised by laptop weilding trolls who nurse their single origin latte with a twist of irony and its lactose dairy free milk forever. The staff are friendly and accommodating. They know how to make a good coffee. The selection of eats is a little thin but that might have been because we came late in the morning. The store is accessible and can get through a line without a significant wait.

None were particularly remarkable except for the beautiful rainbows that fall across the countertop in the evening sunlight - the result of a well-placed, beautiful coffee contraption in the window. Ive lived in San Francisco for a long time, so Im used to rude service being trendy... but I have never had a cordial interaction with any of their employees. The coffee is okay, but I had a bad enough experience there to officially review this place as just meh.We are vegan, and my daughter likes to sip a steamed soy milk while my husband and I drink our cupo. As we were ordering, the guy behind the counter was way more interested in telling his coworker a story than acknowledging our existence. I told him soy two times because I didnt want him to ignore this particular detail - our order wasnt complicated, just two coffees and the kids steamer. Sure enough my daughter took one sip and looked at me in horror as she blurted out what is this?! I opened the lid and it was unmistakably as white as you would expect pus-infused calf hormone growth formula to be. I was angry but calm when I told him Id asked for soy and hed given my child cow juice. His first reaction was defense, saying hed given me soy, but when he looked for himself he did rescind. Oh yeah, hope shes not allergic! was his fake-jovial reply. SMH. This guy is a jerk. My daughter burst out crying and apologizing to the cows.... She was 2 - a 2 year old with more compassion than the guy working there. Ugh, now I get my coffee from Canyon Market. The only reason for two stars instead of one is that fortunately hes not the one working there.

Comment: This is my besties and I favorite place for coffee. Only issue is the staff, or lack there of. Some have training and we LOVE the way they make the drinks. Others are still decent, but may make a drink incorrectly (ie. Too much milk in cappuccino). Thats only an issue do to having one person on the floor and not wanting to hold up the line for the other 4 people that walked through the door. Other than that, still great coffee for a kick of life.

Comment: French and light roast drip (not pour over) and espresso drinks, a selection of pastries and empanadas. The roast their own coffee, so if you like it you can take some home with you. Theres a bit of a laptop warrior contingent weekday mornings.

Comment: Excellent espresso drinks, never tastes burned or weak, always tastes chocolatey and warm! Very consistent quality and sooo much better than the chains. Make sure you have cash for tips since their cc system doesnt allow to tip on the card.

Comment: The barista was gruff with an air of pretension--obviously not the type for chit chat--but Bello seems like a nice enough work space near Glen Park with lots of light, passer-bys and higher ceilings which is rare for a SF coffeehouse.Lack of seating is noticeable.

Comment: Coffee is good but the place is small so seating runs out fast. We also just had a poor service experience there.The person working the counter (heavyset bald guy) felt the need to make sure everyone in the shop knew how much he hated closing on the weekends because weekend customers dont know how to tip and he works for a living so its important he gets paid. Ironically, they dont take tips via credit or debit card so Im sure that plays into the tip factor alongside of his bad attitude.Next I asked for the bathroom key which must have annoyed him since he then felt the need to call out that its hanging on the wall next to the big sign saying bathroom key. What he didnt notice is the elderly man sitting directly in front of the key was blocking my view. Maybe if the key wasnt left at eye level for an 8 year old it would have been more visible.The coffee is good but not worth the experience if you want to hang out there.

Comment: I am just reviewing the chai I had... which wasnt very good. Too sweet and came from a bottle. The environment is pleasant and it is a good choice if you want to get some work done. Bello offers free wifi which is pretty convenient.

Comment: Well, the milk in my mocha was burned, the machine was a mess, and it tasted really bad so I threw it out. The barista was nice but either he was new or thats just how they trained him. Anyway, had a really good coffee at Blue Bottle the day before, tried this place and was so disappointed.

Comment: Nice little cafe close to the Bart station. They have the usual - coffee, tea, snacks, and a variety of iced teas. When we were there there was only one person behind the counter taking and preparing orders, so everything took a little longer. We had the lychee iced tea and a vegetarian quiche and both were fine.

Comment: I tried their sweet chai latte and it was pretty good. They got the right amount of chai latte to froth ratio. Great location and steps away from the Glen Park Bart station. Its a cozy cafe and I just wish there were more tables and chairs available. A lot of foot traffic in the mornings but they churn out the drinks quick! They had a lavender latte on the menu and am looking forward to trying that next!

Comment: The most consistent latte in Glen Park. I only come here for the espresso drinks - which are really good, but the food looks and tastes okay. This is where I get my coffee every morning. The service is fast and polite - which is great when you are in a rush.
