Comment: I hadnt been here in a few years. The employees are as sweet as ever. I had Jesse make me her favorite drink: LAVENDER PEPPERMINT OATMILK LATTE. I loved it! You gotta like lavender, for sure, but I am gonna try that in a mocha next time.I love the coffee iced cubes for the iced drinks. Nice touch. My Iced Snickerlicious was good too. I think I prefer hot or blended. Gorgeous flowers everywhere too. I didnt notice any issues with the cleanliness, and I usually would. It’s not fancy, but I like the laid back vibe. And if you are used to sweet coffee drinks, you might want extra flavor. It seems more natural or less sweet anyway.2021: The Sausage, Egg & Cheese on an Everything Bagel was great. We loved the Jitter Juice coffee which is dark chocolate and Irish Cream, and the Snickerlicious flavor. Later that day, we went back for a BLT that was delicious, and some blended coffees in our new favorite flavors.

Comment: Seems like this place used to be good.That is certainly not the case today.Go inside and look around. The surface of every single piece of decor (not an exaggeration, every single piece) is caked in the thick dust. The place is filthy. There are gas stations with cleaner bathroom than this cafe’s.Also, the place is clearly poorly run and staffed. I went in at 2pm on a Saturday, and people were waiting over 20 minutes for a drip brew coffee, which takes seconds to pour.As for the food? It’s a joke. Not the staff’s fault. This is 100% the fault of management. Maybe the founder has given day to day control to his kids, who knows.In any case, I’m sure if you looked at the average score of reviews in the past 12 months, this place would have a score of 3 stars at best.Don’t waste your time here. Sad place.

Comment: This is pretty sad that I feel the need to leave this review, I hope management takes this seriously and there is change.We come here often as a family morning outing and even get our whole bean coffee here and I’ve recommended this coffee shop to friends and clients. However, the woman sometimes at the drive-thru window is rude and entitled. It hasn’t been my first negative interaction with her but I’ve always assumed she was having a bad or busy morning (even though that’s not the customers fault.) Today we waited outside the drive thru for a long while to ask for hot sauce and no one came back. Until the young gentleman making coffees turned around to ask us what we needed, we asked for hot sauce and he quickly grabbed it and gave it to us, he said “so sorry here you go” we said thank you, while the window was closing the woman turned around and said don’t “say sorry to them they’re @s$h0!3s” disdainfully!! I have no idea why she would even say that! To make matters worse my son who is 2 was in the car with us window down.Appalling and not ok. I’ll definitely take my business elsewhere and be sharing my experience with friends and clients.

Comment: The drinks are great, and I appreciate the fact that they use coffee ice cubes so the drink doesnt dilute over time. The staff is also great! I would go there to study/work more often, however the edges of the tables are covered in some sort of material that causes it to be quite sticky. We did in fact try multiple tables, so its not simply that our particular table was dirty. Also, the floors and tables can get quite dirty. Still, I appreciate the atmosphere otherwise, and considering the great drinks, this place is worth the visit!

My favorite is the Toffee Bar, blended.You can take home some of their coffee beans for the smells to travel into your place when you want a cup of coffee at home.This place also has an open mic night (pre-pandemic). Comment: The service was great! I had a 20 oz latte (comes with four shots) and it tasted a little watery when it cooled down. I love that it came out super hot, but it wasn’t as good once it lost the heat. My dad got a signature blend drip coffee with cream and sugar. I love the decorations inside and the menu is very extensive with sandwiches, wrap, açaí bowl, pastries, many types of tea, signature lattes and other special drinks. I didn’t try any of the food, so cannot comment on the quality or taste.

I took the lid off and put it back on. Still was poring out. I couldnt drink out of without pouring coffee on myself. If you dont want coffee all over the place, then dont get it to go here.

Seems like a great place to hang out, have a meeting, or, like I did, have a nice breakfast outing with the fam. I tried the caramel vanilla latte and the blended iced mocha. The caramel vanilla latte was super sweet and I traded with my husband. Its good if you like sweet stuff. The blended mocha was delicious. We got breakfast sandwiches and they were pretty good. Nothing super out of this world but I cant complain about plain bacon and egg on a croissant. The croissant was beautiful though. Id definitely go back to try some of the other coffee drinks.

Comment: In San Diego visiting family, my partner and I walked down here and Im so glad we did. The breakfast food was delicious and the coffee is incredible. Sad they were out of cold brew since thats often my go to, but the iced coffee is incredible and the coffee ice cubes are such a nice and thoughtful touch to the drink. We will be back!

Comment: I was there for three hours studying, and yes it is a great place to study, and the customer service was okay as well. However, their coffee seemed diluted. I ordered an iced Americano, and for a second I thought they had given me decaf Espresso shots. So I ordered another two shots of espresso to see if there was a difference and there was not.I was wondering why they had so many good ratings on google maps? In the three hrs I was there I also noticed that about 90% of their customers had ordered an iced blended drink, which of course, for the most part, those are filled with sugar with low levels of good quality coffee.If you are seeking a sugar rush than try them out, but if you want to enjoy a good cup of coffee or espresso shots, I would not recommend this place.I was also a barista for serval yrs. I know that when an espresso shot is being made, there’s a specific timeframe where it is good. If it drips too slow or too fast their good quality espresso is not as good, maybe this place is good but today was not their day. I will try it again in the future and see if it has changed.Giving them a 2/5 because they had excellent customer service and is also a nice place to study. However, their coffee is not living up to their name. It is not ”badass” coffee.

Comment: It seemed this place was a cozy and nice setting at first, until you become a regular patron (every day Thur-Sunday ) without fail. Then you get treated badly like you werent a regular patron: each time I would ask to input my order into my profile I would be told it has already been inputed (to my detriment I found out yesterday from an employee that none of my orders in the past month was ever inputted). Its not about getting a $5 free order after each set of 10 orders, its about the principle. Other complaints: you cannot pour honey into your green tea cup, you cant ask for butter without getting charged (this would have been ok if it was told nicely), then I hear an employee call me a prick French. The music is also repetitive and loud, they have forgotten my order 3x, and some employees are so rushed in serving food they forget that their sweat gets in the way right into the order. Also, the sofas are so dusty with food crumbs. They dont seem to get a thorough clean now and then. Sad.

Comment: 4 stars are for a fast drive thru, tasty and hot coffee and always courteous service. Its an overall good stop for coffee. I must give an honest review though, so heres why I removed a star:They play music way too loud and it was hard to work, SO loud (both times that I went inside for several hours to work). In addition, the songs seem to be at the discretion of the employees... which meant I heard the n word a couple times in one particular song. I found this offensive, and just plain bad customer service when volume doesnt consider people often trying to talk or work. I took 1 star off for the above and because sometimes theres not enough places to sit.Bad Ass, you really are pretty bad ass... I think near perfect if you made some changes to your music setup (volume, selections and the one large speaker).

Comment: My favorite coffee in town. They have so many flavors even though their regular blend is to die for already. Plus, theyve got the Hawaiian atmosphere down. No Hello, how can I help you? here, its Aloha, what can I get started for you today? Go here and youll feel like you took a vacation instead of just escaping for a cup of joe.

Comment: You feel like your in Hawaii inside with a nicely decorated island vibe. The coffee and acai bowls are delicious. The drive through window makes it convenient when on the go!

Comment: Very friendly staff, nice chill hawaiin themed atmosphere. Compared to everything else around the food is quite healthy. The breakfast sandwiches are very tasty and so is the oatmeal. The Hawaiian coffee is very good. With the relaxing music, free wi-fi and the endless supply of great coffee it is also a nice place to bring your laptop and get some work done. Seating is a bit limited so you might want to be considerate of others when doing so. If you are in a hurry there is also a drive-thru.

Comment: 100% Kona is the way to start the day! Always brewed fresh and I love how they make coffee ice cubes for iced coffee....never watered down.

Comment: Great tasting coffee. Espresso beans are fresh and rich (much better than starbucks yuck). Black coffee is fresh and always good. Plenty of power outlets. The breakfast sandwiches are pretty darn good. The staff is nice. The owner is nice. Bathrooms are clean. I love this place :) And the coffee is good.
