Comment: I have a complaint about the location in 2268 Venice Boulevard Los Angeles, CA. I was in the coffee shop early in the morning today when a short slighting chubby light skin Asian woman was being overly aggressive with me and harassing. Initially I was talking to one of my girl for friends who was there to work and went to another table to take a business call. After my friend left this lady who told me her name is Shai, aggressively confronted me and said “ Sir you need to buy something are you going to buy something “. I told her yes I am. I was about to leave for work and was going to take a coffee to go. She wait 2 minutes then aggressively intrudes on me getting loud and started saying “ SIR YOU NEED TO BUY SOMETHING OR YOU NEED TO LEAVE”. I’m a 6 foot shaved head African American male who is a senior in college and I am being harassed and victimized by a woman I don’t even know. I asked her name and wrote it down on my phone . She’ll continually started yelling at me and I told her I’m leaving.

But the cappuccinos we ordered were very regular and they were served 5 minutes apart where mine was cold by the time my partner got his.This is our closest coffee shop, hopefully they can step up their customer service and coffee presentation. At the moment quite a forgettable place.

Comment: I sometimes come here for breakfast. First of all, parking is convenient here. Coffee shops in LA are usually inconvenient to get to because parking is difficult. However, it has ample parking space. Also, as you enter the parking lot, the funny murals catch your eye. Theres plenty of seating on the outdoor patio, too, so Id recommend having a coffee outside. What I like the most about this place is that they change the beans from their brewed coffee daily. So every time I visit, I order a different type of brewed coffee. And the beans are fresh because they are roasted here. I love the garlic bagels here, but the portions are rather large for breakfast. So in the morning, I usually have simple croissants with coffee. I introduce the delicious coffee of this place to my friends every chance I get. I highly recommend this place!

The bagel is some sort of brioche bread, stuffed with cream cheese, it tasted creamy and savory but the bread texture is pretty casual.There are seats inside the coffee shop, as well as a nice patio outside in a huge parking lot.

Comment: The coffee here is delicious, but the roasters weren’t wearing masks (I think they were the owners?). The baristas wore masks, which helped a bit. I recommend the salted Carmel coffee or cream coffee. I wasn’t the biggest fan of their vegan blueberry muffin. Overall, great coffee, but had to take a few stars off cause of the mask situation 😕

Comment: The employee was friendly and helpful on the phone, but not so much in person. The (Im guessing) owner seemed to be friendlier. I got a bag of Chimaltenango beans that was roasted on the same day. I brewed it five days later and was quite disappointed by the lack of flavor. Gave the beans a few more days, but they started releasing a strange, cigarette-like smell. I tried my usual V60, and a French press method thats very similar to cupping, but couldnt get any of flavor out of it. Maybe there was just a small issue with that specific batch. Its been about 2-3 months since this happened and Im writing this review a little late. Id like to give them another try, hopefully soon.

Comment: I was very surprised how amazing it looks inside and fresh ground aroma just spiked my coffee senses into overdrive 😁. The cafe latte was quite amazing, I do recommend check-in out this place when your in town. Also like to point out that this coffee shop has some amazing plans for the diverse community in my neighborhood so much positivity.
